Very Good Affordable Grinder
I had been using a blade-type grinder with fresh roasted beans and had a bit of trouble finding a consistent procedure to arrive at the cup of coffee I wanted every morning. I switched to this burr grinder and, after some experimentation, arrived at the settings that satisfied me. I make a single cup of pour-over coffee each time. No larger batches, even though that is easily possible. Experimentation had indicated that, for me within the single cup pour-over scenario, the grinder’s “number of cups” forward facing setting wheel needs to be set on 4 cups. The other setting wheel, on the side of the machine, needs to be set at the one o’clock position. Then I place beans into the bean reservoir at the top of the machine and push the start button once. The grinder does the rest. I boil water in a kettle and transfer that water to a goose-neck little pitcher that has the exact capacity of the cup from which I drink the finished coffee. That water passes through a paper filter and a stainless steel fine mesh filter holder that rests upon my coffee cup. I only do pour-overs, and the above produces a cup of coffee that I like. The adjustability of this burr grinder allows you to find the specific settings that will wind up pleasing you. Make sure you get every bit of finished grind from the clear receptacle before moving on to the brew process, as grinds can adhere to the inside surface of the receptacle’s black top. This has been a reliable, durable, and easy-to-clean burr grinder. I wasted my time with blade grinders. I should have purchased this machine sooner.

Incredible value for this quality coffee grinder!
This is an incredible product! We’ve used it every morning for several months and love it. It is compact, inexpensive, and precise. The dials feel much more expensive than the price would indicate and allow you to set the exact quantity and grind needed. Highly recommend!

Quiet. speedy, consistent coffee grinder
Our Cuisinart died and I needed a replacement. I have been happy with this one so far. One pro is that it will grind the coffee fine. A con is that it will ONLY grind the coffee fine. The coursest grind is only a tad coarser than for ideal espresso and not great for metal filters. The grind is quite even. Grinding is fast and quiet, but the bean hopper isn't very big - maybe a little over a cup.

Must Have in your kitchen
This is a must have if you love fresh ground coffee. The stainless steel finish looks out standing and is stylish addition to any kitchen. The function settings are easy to read and it allows you to create your own personal coffee to your desire. I definitely would recommend this product

Disappointing replacement for prior Shardor grinder
I purchased one of Shardor's conical burr grinders from Amazon in 2022 and it performed well until recently when it stopped drawing beans into the grinder and barely would process beans ( I assume the burrs were dull?). It provided very good service and since the replacement parts were more expensive than a new grinder I purchased this model to replace the older model that was not available anymore. The new grinder is smaller and quieter which I am pleased with. However, the 2 things I see as a major issue are that it is very messy with grinds and dust collecting around the unit, and the grind seems to be a combination of proper grind size and a lot of fine powdered coffee. The mess and inconsistent grind size is not acceptable. It does work but subtracting 1 star due to the unnecessary mess and another due to the inconsistent grind. Reached out to Shardor but did not get a response.

AWESOME machine!
It’s fantastic, works so well! I wish I had purchased one years earlier. Coffee tastes so much better now. I am surprised by how perfectly this works. Absolutely wonderful so far.

UPDATE: I like it. Not so much anymore.
It's really true. You can have coffee shop quality coffee at home as long as you have high quality and fresh coffee beans. The difference was very significant. This grinder seems to have plenty of power and is small enough to fit on my counter without taking up too much space. I don't think it makes too much noise. It might be a little louder than a blade grinder, but not much. I sent in my registration to get the full two your warranty and I got a reply back to following day that it had been honored. Who knows if I will need it or what I'm really going to get out of it if I have a problem. Hopefully, it's an indication to manufacture thinks they have a very good product and not just dishonest marketing. The only thing that is a bit annoying is the fact that when I turn on the grinder, a little bit of coffee powder comes out of the sides of the container as it is grinding. It's not spillage from pulling out the container. You can see this happening is it's grinding. That is from one grinding for four cups of coffee. It's not a deal breaker but it is a little annoying to have to clean up afterwards. This is the only reason I did not give this five stars. UPDATE: After having this unit for a while, I'm back to update my review which has to do specifically about cleanliness. I'm now knocking down my review to only two stars because of how messy it is to use this unit. There is a design flaw in this unit that causes ground coffee dust to fall out the sides of the unit and collect at the back of the unit where the ground coffee container sits. When you use the unit, some of the coffee dust never makes it into the container. So after about 3 or 4 uses you end up having about a teaspoon of ground coffee sitting in the back of the unit behind the container. On top of that, the container seems to be the type of plastic that does not prevent static electricity because when you pull out the container there will be ground coffee all over the back side of the container and there will be a lot of coffee stuck on the inside of the lid and the inside of the container that does not fall to the bottom. This is caused by the opening of the mouth of the container not surrounding the mouth of the chute where the coffee comes out. This is because it does not have a bottom mouthpiece on the containers mouth, so ground coffee easily falls down behind the container and gets all over the back side of the container. Do I like the results of the ground coffee or how it tastes for my coffee in the morning? Absolutely. Do I think I should have to clean up my coffee making area every time I use the unit? Absolutely, not! This is my first burr grinder so I can't tell you if this is a common issue with burr grinders. I wouldn't think not. Somebody must have designed a better mousetrap. By the way, the comments about the size of the grind you get is correct - if you are a coffee press or percolator coffee person, you won't like this unit because the grind is always fine and you you might find your coffee to be a little crunchy. I haven't decided what I'm going to do with this unit. Maybe I should grind a whole bunch of coffee all at one time and put it in a container to be used for multiple days, but then that defeats the purpose of having freshly ground coffee. We'll see.

No sirve
