This tool saved me a lot of stress and money 💰 as I had earlier given a mechanic my car to change the valve cover gasket due to oil leak and he broke a screw inside my engine block and covered it all with a silicon and I pad him $250 for labour but still the cover was leaking oil and also car was out of timing so I had to look up how to do it my self on YouTube and open the cover my self and saw the whole damages done on my engine block I had to get this tool to remove it and it works so well and I also set the timing right , attached are pictures and video prove , so I recommend this tool for any one with same type of issues it works so well. The smallest extractor in the top row of slots with a 1/8 inch drill bit doesn't have any grooves cut in it, it's just a sand blasted finish pointed tip. It says it has 14 bits but it only shows 10, there are two more extractors and 2 drill bits underneath in a plastic bag.

These so called "cobalt" drill bits couldn't drill thru the broken threaded rod, which I got this kit exactly for. The drill bits barely made a small dimple. I thought to myself, it couldn't possibly be these new drill bits, could they? I mean, these are brand spanking new drill bits, and cobalt to boot! I tried different drill speeds, cutting fluid, etc, egc, but all were a NOGO. I finally switched to some Makita cobalt bits, and bored a hole in seconds. Then and only then was I able to use the kit's extractor bits with any success.This kit's cobalt drill bits are 100% USELESS. So, what I really ended up spending my money on were the extractor bits.This kit is NOT recommended. Try something else and avoid this GIREORAN "10 Piece", scratch that, should say, "5 Piece" Screw Extractor Set, Easy Out Bolt Extractor Set.Save your money and move on.

Very nicely packaged and arrived quickly. Nice addition to my tool chest. Seems to be sturdy and should do the job although I have not yet used them.

Had 2 sheaed, after using a 'center punch' for the center, the drill supplied actually backed the broken piece out while drilling a hole. The 2nd one got about a 1/4 " hole, used the extractor, and right out. GREATHowever the case is not large enough to hold all the items, and one pair of drill/extractor are in plastic bag on the top of the case. Sort of weird I think.

And said they have the same quality. They'll do the job for a while, nothing top shelf.

Have not used yet but wanted around when the time came. Came with everything you need to remove a small or large broken stud or screw..
