Great product making it easy to cut out picture mounts. Read the instructions and you can't go wrong.

I found the instructions helpful and could start using the cutters immediately. I did not expect this and it was very encouraging. I was disappointed however, in terms of the blade performance on mount board. I realise that even, firm pressure is required when cutting this type of material but I didn't think that the blades coped at all despite the many attempts to perfect. Initially I thought I was trying to cut a large scale mount too early and so tried a smaller scale mount, but still the finish was not as professional as I had hoped. Even when I thought I had achieved the perfect cut, there were areas that the blade had not cut through and on removing the centre which was to be discarded the card tore the outer paper of the outside mount - very frustrating. I am sure that the system will work fine with thinner materials but mount board is listed in this product's capabilities.

Really happy with this. New to sizing and cutting my own mount boards so am really impressed with how easy it was with the Logan. Comes with an ample supply of new blades. Have cut 10 boards and not replaced the original blade yet. Love how the bevel works, it simple and accurate.

Usual good service from Amazon, however, I would not classify this item as a toy. The mount cutter is very good, definitely better than trying to cut freehand at 45 degrees with a stanley knife and steel rule. Would recommend using a cutting mat for an accurate finish. Packaging not brilliant and spare blades are not obvious in the packing but overall a good buy.
