Tried a Bunch—This One’s the Real Deal
I’ve tried quite a few licorice root options over the years—including pods and powders—but this ULTHMOK cut-and-sifted version is the clear winner. It’s now on my Subscribe & Save. I drink licorice and peppermint tea every evening, and this stuff hits just right. Calms the tummy, tastes great, and brews strong without needing a ton of it. The big hearty chunks give it a kind of rustic charm—looks like little rounds of tea firewood. Great product, and consistently fresh. Highly recommend for anyone who drinks herbal teas seriously (or just needs a gentle way to wind down at night).

BEST ONE SO FAR
It's excellent quality, uniform slices, works great for tea. I tried the other one, instead of rounds it's more shredded. It has huge chunks, they are too big for tea. I had to use a grinder on it first. This one is the best one.

Not what expected
The quality was not what I expected. The pieces were extremely small and looked liked leftover pieces.

I’m here to assure you this is a great product. This is NOT the fake black candy liquorice that everyone assumes it is. It is all natural liquorice root that has a lovely sweetness to it when chewed or steeped for tea. If you’re eating or have cut out your carbs this hits the spots when you get a sweet craving. Glad I bought 3 containers and I’m hoping this product is availed again soon
