Fantastic motor! Surprised me how well itโs ran till it didnโt!
I have 3 of these. Well had 3. My two oldest ones are living in an Outcast 4s with an 11t pinion and in a Losi SCTE with a 17t pinion. Recently decided to grab one for my 1/8 buggy. Holy hell. She was fast on 17t pinion bit I didn't like 150ยฐtemps on a 60ยฐday. So I dropped the pinion to a 12t pinion. Well the temps dropped down to 110ยฐon an 80ยฐday.ive done about 4 pack through this motor on a grass track and a dirt track. Well low and behold today it failed. I went ahead and ordered another one hoping mine is a fluke. I will keep running these monsters as they are reliable and tank like. I'm certain this was a bad batch. I'm blowing serious air on the motor and trying to keep it cool. If it doesnโt work a second time I'll drop the kv on the next one. Keep an eye on those temps and you will be fine!

Was a great motor?
I had this motor in one truck for a few months and it has run great! A little hot,but no esc shutoff with hobbywing 120a brushless wbl10. Took motor and esc out off one truck and installed in another truck using identicle reciever and now motor won't work anymore? I took it apart and couldn't find anything wrong or any debri. Bearings are fine, wires are fine, but motor only tries to turn, turns a few revelultions then stops. Before this happened I was extremely happy with the performance in first truck, and now wish I would've left it in there! It was working perfect until I took it out. Oops!! Now it's been a while and I still can't figure out why motor won't work? Even tried using a bigger esc? But it ran beautiful in another RC. But now won't work at all? Just tries ?

Looks good boxed
So far so good for the price. It is stated 3600kv, I'll try it, for the price the size and power is good.

Hopefully i just got a faulty single motor
Motor locked up within 3seconds of powering it on, I opened the shat end and the magnets were shattered, whatever material used to bind them inside the can failed in my opinion, the refund went great, I was looking forward to this, unfortunately disastrous motor, Iโll try a different production run, it seamed well built, maybe it was dropped on assembly line? Idk, Iโve never seen that b4

It requires at least a 200 amp esc
Its got what I need but specs on what size speed controler would have been helpfull, I had to find out through google Ai ( and it was by luck) I had no idea gpogle Ai would know know. But because that info wasnt here I had to take time searching. It takes at least a 200 amp speed controller, it may work on 120 amp but with a load running long enough it could fry it.

This motor is beastly on 6S
I might be pushing my luck powering this with a 6S esc and a 6S 3300mah 120C lipo. But until that day comes, I will continue to abuse my RC's and push them beyond their limits like the marine corps does with humans. The bullets are unfortunately larger than your standard-ish 1/8th ESC with 4mm bullets. This can be remedied with adapters but is worthy of noting-- these won't fit unless you have the 6.5mm bullets in your ESC. So 8S is probably good to go. But 6S will require that extra bit. On 4S it's quick. On 6S it pushes an extremely heavy all metal buggy/jumper to 50+ mpjh, that's on my street. Should hit 70mph no problem. Yeah, I definitely recommend this motor. It's HUGE, has a ton of torque, BUT also has they high KV for higher RPM's and higher top speeds. You've been warned! Have fun!
