Broken bottle
On opening the packet there was no leakage but when the bottle was opened there was a major leakage...half the bottle I lost. On inspection after emptying the bottle I noticed a hairline Crack in the bottle which was covered by the label. It was too late to return as I had thrown out the packages! I lost more than half the content of the bottle!!

Sweet and spicy.
I'm not certain I would have pegged this as an old fashioned mixer if tasting it blind. The sweetness are the cinnamon/spices are very forward. We've tried it in mocktails/cocktails. I prefer it with less used just to reduce the sweetness a bit--obviously your preferences may vary. Looking forward to using it for fall drinks!

I'm a beginner, but I can tell that I like this mixer
I'm a bit of a beginner when it comes to mixing but I'm doing my best to learn since I prefer a mixed drink to a beer or wine. I liked the simple nature of this mixer as kind of an all-in-one. I also like that it has a recipe on the back: mixer + ice + spirit + soda (optional) + lemon slice. Simple enough. I bought some whiskey and club soda (had the ice and the lemon already - ace!) and mixed 'er up.Here are my tasting notes: "spicy" - warm spices like ginger, nutmeg, and cloves, with the kind of heat that comes along with those flavors, and sweet. This sweetens up a whiskey, though I will say that it can be lost if you use only a small amount, since whiskey can be quite strong.Just a couple notes: This bottle calls for refrigeration after opening, which means it'll take up a little space in your fridge instead of on your bar cart. Also the bottle states that it's "best before 6 months from date of manufacturing," which meant that I got 4 months from the package's arrival date to use it.I admittedly have a lot to learn, but I really enjoyed this mixer and if you compare the price of bar-bought beverages to beverages made at home using this mixer, you've saved some money making them yourself.

Alright cocktail mix
My GF and I like making cocktails. Usually we make from scratch, but sometimes we try these mixes for when we are prioritizing speed. This one is alright. It isn't the best old fashioned, but we didn't expect it would be. It ends up being on the mild/sweet side, so you may have better luck with rye, or something strong.

Good for a variety of beverages
I don't really drink that much, but I do like the taste of various drinks and cocktails. Something like this piqued my interest because of the amount of potential there could be for non-alcoholic drinks. My personal question was this: could you use this in a smoothie to make a healthy, filling mocktail? The answer to that is a bit yes, a bit no. The end product could be considered healthier, but not exactly healthy. There's a lot of sugar in this, but that's to be expected from a product of this type. You have to take what you can get, especially if you are sensitive to sugar substitutes. Where this worked was that it does blend with other items and flavors. You just have to be willing to experiment a bit with this and use the mix to taste. I wouldn't expect it to taste exactly like this, but it's not bad. Personally, I think it's better to just mix it with water or, if you want a bit of something different, a carbonated club soda. Or you could just use a black or barley tea as a base. All in all, this was a fun experiment and one I highly recommend others to try out.

A bit to apple cider-y to me but still fine
Not so much a traditional old fashioned, heavy on the spices specifically ones that seem to be reminding me of fall? Likely the cinnamon. OR actually, checking the ingredients, probably the apple juice?! Lending to a quite apple cider vibe now that I think about it.Also found the nutritional facts a bit hard to read/understand. "5.36" sugar, is this grams per 20mL? A bit confusing
