I’m always worried that my dog will pick up ticks when I take him for walks in the parks and wooded areas. Lyme disease, carried by deer ticks that so small that you can’t even see them, is always a concern, and let’s not forget all the other diseases that ticks can carry, including one that is making deer zombies.And then there are fleas. If you take your dog to a dog park like me, you never know what kind of dogs yours will run into and if they’re carrying fleas. And if they get in your carpet, it’s a nightmare; prepare for fumigation if your house.So, this price for 4 collars is really good, especially since they last 8 months each. And that means I won’t have to buy more for almost 3 years.Plus, the collars seem pretty large. My dog is 102-pounds, so I was a little concerned that the collar wouldn’t fit around his neck. But it fit fine, and left about 6-inches of slack that I cut off.Overall, I’m pretty happy with the purchase, and look forward to taking my dog out more this summer in the woods.

We spend time with our Border Collie outdoors a lot. He started to react to liquid formulas and I wanted to make sure we find a product that safely guards him from fleas and ticks. I found this collar and after 3 weeks of use- it’s doing its job so far! We hiked a very overgrown trail for several miles and Bowie didn’t pick up a single hitchhiker.The collar smells great (clean but not too earthy). It’s advertised to work up to 6 months. As a dog owner— I appreciate how affordable and safe this product is. I plan on using a collar on parent’s dog who is very prone to fleas.Only one thing I’d like to see in the future, is if the manufacturer can provide a full list of ingredients.

My dog got a tick, and we had to take her to the vet to have it removed. She was put on antibiotics just in case the tick carried disease, and we given a medication to dissuade ticks and fleas, which cost $30/month. I came across these, which had great reviews, and is $30 for 4 months. Being a much better value, I thought I’d give them a try. We’ve had them on her for a week and a half or so, and no ticks yet. I’m hoping they continue to prove effective and that we can switch to just the collars and forego the medication. The collar is easy to use and put on, lightweight, and non-intrusive, not seeming to bother Eeva at all.

I have four Chihuahuas and love that there were four collars in the box. These are very flexible collars and they actually smell good. They are strongly scented in a good way, but my pups aren’t bothered by it at all. My dogs love to run and roll in the grass, and I must say since putting these collars on them almost a month ago, I have not seen one flea or tick on any of them! I live in a very rural area and we are overwhelmed with ticks every Spring thru Fall. Keep your grass cut short and use these collars on your pups. Say good bye to ticks and fleas. Will purchase again.

These collars work!! Our dog (Honey) had a significant amount of ticks that had accumulated under her collar. I looked at a variety of tick collars, and frankly was appalled at the cost of some of them. I found these and decided to give them a try. We put one of these collars on, and within two days, ALL of the ticks were GONE! But the benefits didn't stop there. Within a few days, she began running and playing and bouncing around like she hadn't done since she was a puppy. You could literally see the relief the collar was giving her! In the 2 weeks now that she's had this collar, her coat has grown in softer and thicker, and her overall health has improved. The collars have a distinct smell, but it's rather pleasant. These are more than worth the money, and I would HIGHLY recommend (and Honey does too!).

I researched flea & tic collars on Amazon as well as the big box pet stores and found TriOak to have great ratings along with a great price! They were very easy to put on my dogs and have stayed put. In addition to providing great protection, they do not smell like chemicals! I've purchased this type of collar before and the chemical smell that emanated from them was so bad, that I needed to get rid of them. I am very pleased with these collars and the fact that 4 collars are included in a single purchase is a bonus!

I bought this four pack of collars for my three dogs. One 25 lbs, one 60 lbs and one 160 lbs. The fact that one collar strength works for all three was what attracted me to the product. The fact that it actually works on all three has made me a return customer. I also like the fact that you don't need to stretch the collar to activate it. I never know exactly how far to stretch them so this is a saving grace. LOL Finally, the scent is rather pretty. I think it might be geranium. All in all these are great collars and I will definitely be buying them again.

My dog recently started venturing into wooded areas and came home with ticks on his head. I was a bit panicky because we never dealt with ticks before. My vet said they were bad this year so be extra careful.After review of many tick repellent options I settled for these TriOak collars. My dog doesn’t wear a collar but he doesn’t seem to mind this being on. It’s soft and easy to cut to size. The only thing I was unsure of is the smell. I know I’m very sensitive to strong scents but my dogs sneezed a few times when I first put it on him. Its very strong lavender. It seems to be leveling out now.So far it seems to be working. No ticks after our walks. I would say I’ll be purchasing again but they gave me 4 collars so it may be awhile! Lol
