No brainer for me
If your a beginner this binocular will do everything right for you. Great value for money and a good place to start a new hobby . I was very happy with these, no eye strain what so ever with nice wide view and the magnification is way better than I thought it was going to be. One of my go too's.

Retro birding binos
Couldn't resist a pair of Celestron binoculars at this low price but.. sent first pair back as objective lenses were not fitted correctly. 2nd pair ok. Great for bird watching as they have a good depth of view and field of view. I also love the retro look and feel to these very wide porro prism bins.

A solid little porro
This celestron upclose 7x35 produces a very clear, sharp image for its low price..a good porro prism binocular will give a far superior image compared with most mid priced roof prism binoculars which need phase coatings, ed glass and all the other fancy coatings just to compete with a porro and even then you are still better off with the "old fashioned " style porro. If you want a lovely relaxing natural stereoscopic view stick with a porro design. This particular one gives such a view and ok it might not be quite as bright as an instrument which has bak-4 prisms ( this celestron is made using the supposedly inferior bak-7 ) which back in the 70's & 80's was commonly used in nearly all Japanese made binoculars including some very good ones! The field of view is a pleasingly wide one although there is some edge distortion but with most porro made binoculars that is the case anyway. Close focus is about 4 metres but the first one i received was nearer 7..! There will be some variations in spec at this price ( Chinese quality control) however if you get a good one it will give you a lovely sharp view perfect for watching birds in flight with no eye strain! Highly recommended at this price..

Incredible value for money
I recently purchased these as a Christmas present for a 7 year old grandchild who is showing a keen interest in birds. He is yet to get them but I was keen to see how well a pair of £32 binoculars performed. My wife and I both use Leica binoculars with a new price of around £1700. We did not expect much for £32! I was very pleasantly surprised. They appear to be well made and durable. They are a little heavy but lighter binoculars at this price would not be durable. In use, they perform excellently. They are very easy to use, have a lovely clear and sharp picture and have very good depth of field. Being 7x35 means a nice bright picture and easy to hold still enough to get a good look at something. The angle of view is also really good so easy to find the target quickly. We are very much looking forward to seeing them in action with our grandchild.

It’s just about ok
It’s ok. Basically you get what you pay for. Bought for watching birds on feeders in my garden. I needed something with a close focussing distance. Compared to some vintage Russian BPC binoculars I have, this Celestron unit is harder to focus, does not focus as closely, has an inferior image and does not blur out the far-off background as well. The BPCs are going for about £85 on various websites, but if the best image quality is what you need then buy something like those instead of the Celestron. If you want so so image quality and you won’t be focusing and re focusing a lot then the Celestron product is ok.

Budget binoculars 7x25mm Celestron
Close focus. Bright image and easy to grip rubber. Built to a price of course but in normal conditions they are adequate. I would avoid getting them very wet or dropping them. Seven times magnification makes them easy to hold steady for a longer. Recommended for casual use.
