I used this for some very small seeds for winter sowing. I put soil in milk jugs, put the seeds in and let them cold stratify over the winter. This device is easy to use.

It spaced the seeds fine but did not work with seeds like beets etc. There were not any instructions with this so it was just pretty much figure it out on your own.

These little seed sowers come in a pack of two. As this is not the right time for sowing here, I decided to test them with hulled millet. As I had it on hand in my kitchen and it is about the size of many of the seeds I use. It is easy to open up these little seed dispensers and add the seed. They are very straightforward to use, as you just depress the button to release the seeds. Unfortunately, it was pretty easy to accidentally release more than one seed. In the last picture each little pile is one try. I did get better at it as I practiced and it was easier to get one seed per press than trying to do it by hand. They will definitely make getting seeds planted individually a faster endeavor.

The media could not be loaded.  Before I got this mini sower I dreaded planting carrot seeds. It was so difficult to space the seeds separately in the ground. This mini seed sowing tool has really helped. It doesn't work perfectly, sometimes more then one seed comes out at a time. I have notice that with some practice I have gotten better on the amount of seeds that come out. I am happy with this seed planter and it is definitely worth the price
