Great starter brushes

I really like the nice neat and sturdy little box, what they come in, all individually wrapped as well, good quality for the low price, absolutely recommend for beginner miniatures painters

As others have said questionable... GOOD: *Nicely boxed *good shape and very light weight BAD: *hook tips and Flaring of bristles during and after painting, *bristles NOT shaped/dressed correctly tips uneven *sizing incorrect?? I have worked with A LOT of pure sable brushes over the years (sign writing) and thought I would take a chance on these for miniature painting and detail work. If you look closely, the pictures show one of these brushes (TOP) against one of my 32 year old, very abused (oil, enamel, acrylic, water, laquer!), signwriting brushes (bottom) repurposed for model painting. you can see the difference in the tip point I highly recommend using something like The masters brush cleaner and restorer to help with the shape. which I have used on these brushes now. Sadly, that wont help the bristle dressing though.

These brushes are ok. They're clearly cheap. Issues as other reviews have mentioned caps not in place properly and bristles bent as a result. Wait and see how they paint but I'll need to trim off the wonky bristles first.

Not sure why people are having problems with these. I painted my battle sisters details no problem and a few tyranids. Brushes have kept their shape and points. Havent had any problems with them. I would probably.spend a little more and get a wider range of sizes next time.

I don't believe that these brushes are Kolinsky Sable. After the first use it is almost impossible to get a decent tip again and while painting the bristles split in two. Detail work is near on impossible too. Save your money and get a set of Sable brushes from a proper hobby shop. These are very disappointing.

Since I recently started painting with acrylic innks I wanted a new set of brushes as my typical makeup brushes are not finely pointed enough for careful application of the very pigmented inks. THESE ARE HIGHER QUALITY THAN THEIR PRICE SUGGESTS. I have used all five brushes (#3, #1, #2/0, #3/0 and #5/0) and every one of them holds their point very well. For the cost of one GW synthetic brush you get five that are comfortable, useful and well made.

It’s true, the quality of your work is only as good as the quality of your brushes. Very ergonomic, fits nicely in the hand can make really fine lines easily.

I use these to do detail painting on plastic models of cars, military vehicles, and figures. I am definitely getting better results than I used to and have enjoyed using them. High quality.
