Works as described
It does exactly what it says. It plugs right into the back of my Porsche Boxster S radio. Can use a more modern audio device without ruining the dashboard with a modern headunit. You just need to enable the aux input setting on the radio for it to work, through the hidden menu.

Bought for a 986 Boxster S, fitted into the back of the Becker stereo without any issues. Cable was just over a metre long, allowing it to to be threaded behind the centre console to a hole in the shelves beneath the head unit and still have plenty of travel to reach a phone being held against the windscreen for navigation. No complaints.

Not great plugged into a phone
Bought this for my 986 and it fit perfectly. Only downside is that plugged into my Samsung s10 there's a feedback loop being created somewhere. But I use it with small Bluetooth transmitter and it's totally fine.

Adapter funktioniert
Adapter wurde an einem Becker Indianapolis Pro angebracht. Danach im Menü gem. Bedienungsanleitung von Becker den AUX In aktiviert, dass künftig statt CDs der AUX-Eingang verwendet wird. Seither problemlos Musik über Aux im Mercedes zu hören.

Il cavo funziona perfettamente nella Mercedes Classe A 160 CDI. Adesso posso collegare il mio cellulare, mp3 a anche ricevitore Bluetooth e sfruttare meglio l'audio della mia auto.
