ALVIN Mechanical Pencil Eraser Replacement Pack - Premium Quality Erasers for Precision Erasing

I bought these for my favorite mechanical pencil that I've had for 40 years. Only problem was that I could not find replacement erasers - until now! These erasers erase cleanly, are the perfect size and also come with their little metal holders, with everything neatlystored in a small plastic tube. I do almost all my editing, casual writing and writing drafts in mechanical pencil. Mechanical pencils can last a long time with lead refills, but the erasers are not always good and even if they are they wear out quickly. (I guess I make a lot of mistakes.) I wish I had looked at the product description more carefully because these erasers are smaller and not designed for the normal mechanical pencil. I did fit some replacement erasers in the eraser slots for my regular pencils and took a comparison photo to show the difference in size. Despite the size difference, the quality of the eraser is good, and the small size allows for a more detailed erasure in some cases. Would I buy them again? No, not for my regular mechanical pencils but I looked at the expensive ALVIN mechanical pencils sold on Amazon for which they are designed and if I used those ALVIN pencils these ALVIN erasers would be on my list. The ALVIN pencils looked so cool and so much like a quality item I might even buy one of those pencils for myself someday. In the meantime, I am giving the erasers a 5-star rating. They work well and I won't detract from my rating due to my error. I can't erase that mistake.
