This is a great house for a Syrian hamster - far too small for a guinea pig. The house comes flat pack and slots together easily like a jigsaw. The roof lifts off easily, which is excellent as it means you can check on your hammy and spot clean inside the house if necessary, without taking the whole house out, so the nest stays in tact. The flat roof is good for putting a food bowl on top and makes an extra platform. I think it needs a bendy bridge over the door though, for a hamster, because the door is quite large and lets too much light in. With a bendy bridge over the door, it's nice and dark inside and also gives a ramp up to the roof top. I actually didn't use this as our hamster decided to move his wee corner inside his house, so I bought the larger rabbit sized version for him and put his potty litter tray inside the house - worked brilliantly! And gave an even bigger shelf/roof top. So this size is good for a hamster house if your hamster has a wee corner somewhere else. If they pee in their house then try the large rabbit sized one and put a potty litter tray inside (at the door end - they tend to nest away from the door at the other end). Makes life a lot easier. The rabbit sized one would also be a good size for a guinea pig. It's very tall though, so for a hamster, I had it sat on the base of the cage, and put some substrate inside it and piled it up round the outside so it wouldn't be tunneled under (it would be too heavy to fall on them). This guinea pig sized one is fine sat on top of the substrate - much lighter and smaller.

I was impressed with this, the wood is decent quality for the price. I got it while it was on offer and brought it to use to keep hedgehog food dry outside. It quite small but will do the job, although I did need to widen the opening for a hedgehog. I couldn't have brought the materials and made one of these for the knock down price, so it was a bargain. I imagine that a small guinea pig would fit in this ok 👍🏻

These are good and they’re good quality BUT they’re not big enough for Guinea Pigs they’re just not. I ordered the 26 x 17.3 × 13 cm size and they’re so small my Guinea pigs won’t even go inside then they just sit on top of the little houses so I’ll keep them but if you’re buying them for Guinea Pigs get the size up.

Absolutely love this! And I can order bigger ones as the tortoise grows. They love it as the heat can still get to them through the holes as well as the door. Easy to put together and sturdy. They sleep in it at night take them self's in there at bed time.

To small for a guinea big.

Well made and easy to put together, but no way is this big enough for a Guinea Pig, they won't use it. Yes, I checked the measurements and it seemed ample but once put together it's too small. More suitable for small rodent.

A lovely item. Well made sturdy, easy to construct and a good size for the smallest of furries who love hides and lots of space. As I keep hamsters 🐹 I can’t say if this is big enough for larger small furries such as guinea pigs but I am happy with it for my little girls.

Ich habe die kleine Version gekauft, da wir "nur" Degus haben. Das Häuschen ist in den Abmessungen zwar klein, die Maßangaben stimmen jedoch, daran kann man als Halter erkennen, ob das Haus in der Größe passt - Wer Erfahrung in der Kleintierhaltung hat, der weiß, dass die meisten Hersteller viel zu kleine Produkte verkaufen und das Kaninchenhaus so schnell zum Hamsterhaus werden kann. Das Häuschen kommt in Einzelteilen, flach zusammengelegt an und ist binnen einer Minute und ohne Vorkenntnisse zusammengebaut. Die Anleitung (bestehend aus Bildern) ist schlüssig, aber nicht nötig. Die vier Seitenwände werden ineinander gesteckt, das Dach daraufgelegt und mit etwas Druck rastet dieses dann in der Öffnung ein und fertig. Das Dach ist abnehmbar und somit geeignet für alle Arten von Kleintieren. Das Holz ist sauber geschnitten, hatte keine Risse und ich trocken. Also qualitativ absolut ohne Beanstandung. Alles in allem gibt es von mir 5 Sterne: Die Maße passen, der Zusammenbau ist kinderleicht, das Holz ist ebenfalls "nagersicher" und ich habe kein schlechtes Gewissen, wenn es angenagt wird.

We have guinea pigs and eventually they get bigger. It is a tiny space but they love to hide. I ended up gluing mine as it kept coming apart.

450gの我が家のハリネズミにちょうどいいサイズでした。 ちょうど左側に隠れられるサイズ感で、かなり臆病なうちのハリも安心できたようです。 組み立ても簡単で適度な厚みもあり耐久性も悪くなさそう。 DIYや他商品で外階段をつけてあげれば、屋根も活用できて良いです。

Check the dimensions before you order. They are correct; however, it barely fits a full grown guinea pig and mine would not go into the cramped, dark space. It would be a good item if it were larger.
