A beautifully written book, not just for Federer fans: it considers tennis in the context of philosophy and its place in history. A must read this summer.

Enjoyable
Interesting read. Not just about Federer, but about concepts of beauty and morality, through the windows of history, and culture, sport, and fan perception. Is Federer part of the sporting ideal which places him above mere mortals? Is he in fact real, or, a construct of brand and marketing? All these ideas and more are discussed by Chris Jackson. Anyone interested in sport and how it can be interepreted will enjoy this.

Noioso davvero tanto. Molto meglio per chi vuole approfondire vita e successi del tennista un altro libro: Codice Federer. Questo si scritto bene e pieno di aneddoti e preziose informazioni.
