Bit of a strange review this one, as I have given the product 5 stars but I have actually returned the product because it just didn't work for me personally. The velcro sticking strips just wouldn't stay in place for me. I don't know if it was because of the wooden frame or window shelf, but it just wouldn't hold.However, the material itself was good quality, and if it would have stayed, it really did provide the blackout effect.If you can get it to stay in place, it would be a very good product. That is the main reason for the 5 star review.Also, I had cut the product to size, but even taking that into account, the supplier still authorised for me to return it. Which I thought was good service.If it works for you, you will be pleased with the product.

They fold up small, weigh next to nothing, can be attached to the window either with removable suction cups or with sticky velcro (supplied) and they are amazing at blacking out windows. Would highly recommend. It will take you a maximum of 10 minutes to cut to size and fit the velcro to back of the black out blind, and to stick the suction cup to the window. Great for travelling too, as many hotels in hot countries have flimsy see through curtains.

Does the easy & quick job.

This product is fabulous and huge too. Complete blackout and plenty spare too. My only slight negative is that the Velcro supplied is black. I’d suggest buying a roll of white Velcro so it’s not as obvious on the window surround when you take it down.

These are ok. Fairly easy to do (I rushed mine when kids were in the bath and it still turned out ok). They do the job sufficiently and so I’m happy, but where they could be better:- velco is black. Sounds stupid, but it means it stands out against white window frames when the blind isn’t on. I’ve had some before where the Velcro was white and that was much better- they sag. I generally leave them up (laziness!) and find they need adjusting every few days as they’ve sagged down and let light inAs mentioned, I’ve had some before for different windows that I preferred so think there’s better quality out there, but these are fine.

If u want a direct anser to a sometimes questionable dilema regarding privacy interference from to much light or a darker (pitch black ) one to sleep in then this is a quick fix and easy to customise or fit to windows

I was very happy with this, easy to install, cut it to what ever size you require. The Velcro pads are still working now, 6months of putting the blind up and down every night

Die schlechten Bewertungen kann ich nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Man kauft hier eine Material, welches in erster Linie richtig abdunkeln soll + Sonnenschutz. Hier muss man also das Material selber zuschneiden und dafür sorgen, dass es hält.Das im Lieferumfang enthaltene Klettmaterial ist etwas knapp bemessen. Ich würde empfehlen zusätzlich Klett (Meterware) zu kaufen. Kann man generell ganz gut gebrauchen. Man kann die Folie dann z.B. auch am Fensterrahmen montieren. Bei uns hält es bis jetzt super. Ich würde es wohl nicht direkt an das Fenster kleben, denn dort besteht die Gefahr, dass die Hitze den Klebstoff unbrauchbar macht, daher haben wir es an den Rahmen montiert.

Für den kleinen Preis echt super. Unser Zimmer mit dem VELUX Fenster ist bei starker Sonne spürbar kühler. Der Klettverschluss hält bei uns wunderbar.

Wir hatten schon festeren Stoff, der sich gefühlt auch nicht so schnell aufheizt, aber für den Preis ist das schon okay.

Best product: Blocks most of the heat &100 % the light.To cut it you need a lot of precision to make a perfect rectangle, therefore it's not the easiest, but, so are almost all the fabrics found around..
