🕵️♂️ Hooky: Where Every Guess Counts!
Hooky is an engaging deduction game designed for 3-5 players aged 14 and up, where you take on the role of a homeroom teacher trying to identify which students are playing hooky. With gameplay lasting between 30 to 60 minutes, this game not only promises fun but also supports a noble cause, as proceeds benefit the Aseema Charitable Trust in Mumbai, India.

Masterwork in Deduction Games
Brilliant wordless style deduction. Fun art, great game play. Perfect for those who like deduction and word games.

Fun deduction game
Played this at Gen Con this year and LOVED it! Friends bought this and we played all night. I got home and couldn’t stop thinking about it so we bought it for ourselves. It’s a game that can be played any number of times. Definitely not for young kids as you need to know how to spell and make deductions about who may have what letter.

If Clue and Wordle had a child it would be this game
I played it at a game night yesterday and after calling around my town today, with no success, I finally decided I would just have to wait the five days for delivery from Amazon (holiday weekend). If you like word games- Boggle, Scrabble, Wordle, etc. or logic/deductive games- sudoku, Clue, logic grids, etc. then you will enjoy this one. It says 14+ but if the players enjoy these types of games it could work for 10+.

Outstanding Deduction / Word Game
Hooky is my absolute favorite deduction game – and if the idea of a word deduction game interests you, you'll almost certainly love it. James Miller's fantastic game design is enhanced by Tessa Samuelson's outstanding, adorable art.

Unique and Fun and Beautiful
I love this game. It combines word and deduction games into one, it is limited to 6 rounds, it looks great. You have a limit of 6 rounds in which to figure out which 3 children are playing Hooky and which cards other players have in their hands (which is how you eliminate down to figure out the 3 skipping school). You are involved on EVERYONE'S turn because they ask for clues aloud, so you get information. The game tends to play silently while people think, and then it ends with a big discussion and some surprises (where you made mistakes). But you don't have to be a brainiac either because the 6-round limit allows you to take some shots for points with educated guesses. Also, in a pinch, you can show a card from your hand (giving out free info) in exchange for peeking at someone else's card and maybe getting secret information just for you. Super fun! Best played with adults or children over 14 with some patience and who like brain teasers.
