Deadens sound, heavy, small holes, large loops
It is really good quality, worth the $30 for each one. I bought the two pack. The are heavy in weight so get good quality curtain rods or screws to hang them up. I used mine to cover up a glass double door that is between my apartment and my mom’s house. I could hear her tv and she could hear mine, they were clashing. These blankets were able to deaden the sound. They function just as they should! They are rather large in size, the holes are really tiny (one on each side of each blanket & 4 on top) and the loops for a rod are rather long (you will need your rod to be really high. The blankets function better if it is all the way against the wall so a rod is not ideal. You can still hear through if it is a glass door you are covering but it is definitely muted in sound! I did not try these on a wooden or steel door.

Works well. It won't block all the sound, but it certainly is a big improvement.
This two pack was the perfect size to hang in front of my apartment window, one in front of the other effectively giving me a double lawyer of sound dampening. I live in a studio apartment in Seattle above to the I-5 freeway, and am sick and tired of the constant drone of highway tires all the time, it never ends. While these won't block out all the sound, especially deeper frequencies, they do make a difference, I'd say they block out maybe 75% of the sound. So not perfect, but a big improvement. I used a 10# command hook for each grommet, so easy mounting, can put them up and take them down in just a couple minutes. Would buy again.

Great choice , love it and good price
I liked it this so much I bought another and the first reduced the noise, having two made it perfect , no longer I hear the neighbor slamming of doors at all night hours. We positioned one at the house entrance door and a second after the shoe rack at the entrance to the living room using tension rods. And when we need to transit in or out we roll it up and use velcro to keep it up.

Did not work for my needs
I used this to cover a single pane window to decrease or dampen ordinary traffic noise. The smell was awfuland in my opinion did not work especially for the money paid. The size was generous and It was thick. I believe made well but did not stand up to its claim to dampen noise effectively. I would pay even more if the item worked for me.

Pretty Good
I had been looking at sound dampening panels for my bedroom for some time before settling on these Boxer panels. Overall I'm pretty happy with them. They do a decent job of blocking outside noise and minimizing echo in my bedroom. These aren't going to totally eliminate outside noise. I can still hear my neighbor's unmuffled v8 when he fires it up in the morning to go to work. But I no longer hear most of the road noise from normal cars passing by my house. Whatever chemicals they hose these down with at the factory STINKS. You may want to let them air out for a couple weeks before installing them. I wish I had. I really like the size of the panels. They're perfect for a standard bedroom. I wish they didn't only come in black. I'm going to have to cover them with something like curtains or a tapestry. The panels feel pretty durable. I am not worried about ripping even with someone yanking on them. Most panels I found weren't sized right for standard american home construction. Few were ceiling to floor height and none were cut to factors of standard wall length (ie 6ft, 12ft, 18ft). These Boxer panels are different. They are cut to a standard 8ft celling height. 2 panels cover a standard 12ft bedroom wall with just a little overlap. They give you several options for mounting but the metal eyelets are the best. I tested a few solutions including command adhesive hooks but eventually settled on medium sized metal hooks from the hardware store. I made a drilling jig with a bit of the cardboard box the panels came in. I measured the distance from the top center of the eyelet to the top of the panel and marked that on the jig. I measured the distance between the end of the panel and the first eyelet and marked that. FInally I measured the distance between the top center of each subsequent eyelet and marked that. I cut out the carboard where I marked and had a good measuring tool to mark where I needed to drill for the hooks. In most residential construction you will find wood behind drywall all along the line where the walls meet the celling. I drilled far enough in until I felt wood than sunk a hook. Once I had all the hooks in place I wrestled the panels in place. It was tricky getting them around the top of the hook, especially in the 1 eyelet that overlaps in the middle. If you do a good job with the hooks, the panels lay nice and flat against the wall. I did not but they still look fine anyway.

No rod included
It kind of dampens sound, but not by much. I thought it would come with a mounting rod, but it does not. I don't think it's worth the money

Good for sound treatment and blacking out window
Super thick and heavy duty. Smell a little funny but it goes away after some time. Block out all light if that’s what you’re using them for. I’m using them to help deaden my room and they work for that.

Not for all uses !
This is a good product if you want to install and leave in place however I needed to take up and down and that does not work well with this multi- sheet fabric and will lead to peels and tears.

Its not bad. for something I can just hang up with ease. It was never intended to completely block all noise. It works as intended and I'm happy with it
