New Favorite Wireless Mic
If you like the Saramonic sound, this won't disappoint you. Plus you can control all the setting from the TX directly. Here are some of the downsides.1) No Lavalier Option.2) The magnets that hold the receiver could be a bit stronger.3) only way to charge the TX is through the RX. 4) Magnets for Transmitters don't have cords so fell down my shirt a few times. Now with that out of the way, the no Lavalier issue isn't so bad. The Insta360 magnetic pendent is perfect for holding the Transmitters. It has that drawstring so you can have the mic close to your mouth, even under your shirt. The customs screens are easy to change through the app, and they can be changed individually. The battery life is pretty good. Only time it's died on my is when I carried it in my bag for a few days and they get knocked loose. As soon as the separate from the receiver they turn on. I don't carry then in the hard case.So in summary, the sound is great, the easy of use is great, the range is great. That's all the checks you look for in a wireless microphone right? ✔️

Just ok. nothing exceptional
The unit itself is very attractive and I got this so I can customize the display. Figuring out how to do this took some time as I had to download the app which brings me to the key pain point. The app is not available on the Google App store and has to be downloaded directly from the manufacturer site. I did not want to do this due to security considerations. However, the manufacturer does have one on the Apple store and can be downloaded to the iPad.I downloaded this app on to my iPad and customized my logo on the display. One star reduced for the extremely user unfriendly nature of how the app strategy has been developed. Majority of folks have a Google android based phone.Next, pairing required no effort and the receiver along with the transmitter was paired automatically; they were also charged half way so I just had to charge them once prior to use. However, using the transmitter to record proved to be a big hassle. My mac did not recognize the transmitter or receiver as anything beyond a storage device and so audio was completely gone! The microphone was working on the transmitter and I can see the receiver receiving the signal. But no way to make this work with my MBP.Finally, switched to recording on my pixel phone and then the receiver + transmitter started working but audio quality was very poor.Expect to spend some decent amount of time to figure things out in case you want to try this model. Not recommend for professional use.

no edit options on the screen - not good battery life - pricy
I've noticed that the battery tends to drain quickly, and it doesn't meet my expectations for longevity between charges. In my opinion, the current price seems disproportionately high compared to the perceived value and functionality of the item. I expected a more competitive pricing structure given similar products in the market. It seems like you're describing a situation where there are no edit options on the screen, and you're unable to input or edit any text. So, the adverstisement is also dissappointing.

Unique Mic with style!
This is not your average microphone! It brings a whole different sense of style to your recording experience, whether using it as a content creator or even in a professional setting. Surprisingly I had a device that did just this (to project custom images on a button that size) but that's just it, that's ALL it did. This brings that value on top of being an excellent microphone! The battery life in this is actually pretty amazing, clocking in around 9 hours. Which is good enough to get through a good shoot in a reasonable time. It recharges back pretty quickly too so if the day is going extra long we have options! Perfect for content creators, vloggers or industry types who want to be 'on' while also showing their brand with them wherever they go!

Nice overall design and concept, USB-C digital audio output requires firmware update
-- UPDATE 2023-10-27 --After working with Saramonic support, they were very responsive and helpful in trying to resolve the issue. The USB-C digital audio output problem turned out to be a known issue that was fixed in a firmware update that isn't yet available through the app. I was able to update the firmware to v 2.10.202.136 and confirm that the USB-C digital audio output now works as expected. It is only a 16-bit 48kHz device--despite that the recordings on the transmitters are 24-bit 48kHz. But at least the digital output from the RX unit works now after the firmware update.-- ORIGINAL REVIEW --This Saramonic Blink Me B2 looked like a really interesting kit with the many magnetic docking and attachments included. But it fails to output digital audio through the USB-C port on the receiver (RX).The kit only includes two cables:1. 3.5mm TRRS to 3.5mm TRRS2. USB-A to USB-CNeither of these work with a current Mac, iPhone, or iPad without some other kind of cable or adapter (aside from desktop Mac computers that have USB-A ports). I wish that the kit included a short USB-C to USB-C cable and perhaps a USB-C to Lightning cable for some iPhone and iPad models.I found my own USB-C to USB-C working cables and tried a couple of them with this unit. Although the Mac detects the Blink Me audio device as an input and output device, when I select it as the recording device in software like QuickTime Player the RX audio meters slowly stop updating within a few seconds and eventually freeze to the point that the level meters don't animate at all. I need to power off the RX and power it back on to restore normal functionality. At first I thought there must be an updated firmware version that fixes such a basic feature as USB-C audio output, but after pairing with the USA App Store app that has some prompts and buttons in Chinese--strange for a USA English app--, there was no firmware update available even after I told the app to automatically download firmware when connected to Wi-Fi.Perhaps it's just an issue with the Mac? So I tried it with an iPad Pro with USB-C and iPhone 15 Pro Max with USB-C, and both of them failed to record any audio from the Blink Me RX. They had the same symptoms as when connecting the RX to the Mac. The RX froze and needed to be restarted. The one thing I noticed when connecting to the Mac is that the Blink Me audio device had a maximum sampling rate of 48kHz and 16-bit word length--even though the transmitters (TX) record in 24-bit 48kHz word length and sample rate. I expected the USB-C audio output to also be 24-bit, but it wasn't.Since I was planning on using this receiver to connect digitally to an iPhone or Mac, the fact that it doesn't work in USB-C digital audio output mode is a major fail for me. The other option is to find a USB-C to TRRS audio interface to connect to this RX using the TRRS to TRRS analog cable, but that's a hassle and more adapters hanging off of the device--not desirable.Another thing to note is that the TXs don't have a 3.5mm audio input to connect external microphones or lavalier mics, so you have to use the built in mics on the TXs. But the good news is that fur windscreens are included to help with windy conditions.Overall, I would have given this kit a higher rating if the USB-C digital audio output worked as expected.
