4 minute back has transformed my back & shoulders!
i purchased this item & couldn’t wait to start using it when it arrived! i have a consistently sore back & very tight shoulders from my job, and i was looking for anything to help release some of that pain. the 4 minute back has helped a lot as i’ve started to use it consistently. at first i wasn’t sure what the best height would be for me, but the instructions helped me figure that out. i found that the arm strap wasn’t the most comfortable, but putting a wash cloth in the strap has helped quite a bit with the comfort level. i would definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs help stretching and adjusting their back & shoulders!

Complicated
Watched video. Set it up right. Looked like I was doing it right. Didn’t work. Must be more complicated to use it correctly than it seems…or it just doesn’t really work

Stopped Going to the Chiropractor
Being a former college athlete, I have always experienced lower and upper back pain periodically over the past 30 years. A friend suggested I try the 4-minute back device, so I gave it try despite being skeptical. After the third use, my back felt amazing. I haven't felt this type of relief in more years than I can count. I have a high tolerance to pain, so I didn't realize the degree of discomfort I had lived with on a daily basis until it was gone. I hated going to the chiropractor because it was always painful, and my back was always frozen. This is the first time in 30 years that I have relief and the best part is that I can do it from home or take it with me when I have to travel for work. I wished I had tried this sooner.

VERY painful on my arms
I don't know why this wasn't mentioned in the other reviews. Yes, it works. But I couldn't stay in it for more than 10 seconds - that's how much my arms hurt.

Works great for back pain!
It took me a couple of minutes to get my setup just right, but once the positioning was correct and I applied 35lbs of weight I could feel a very gentle stretch on my back. I moved around a bit to feel the the stretch where my back needed it most.By day 4 my long-term backpain was already beginning to decrease. It was subtle at first, but the results are a definite plus. My posture seems to be improving as well which seemed a bit weird, but great.I did end up placing a pad in the armrest to make it more comfortable.

Clever money-maker, but somewhat misleading.
This device is a clever combination of 3 simpler devices, and they are selling it for more than double what those 3 items would sell for, independently.Unfortunately, the desire to add a digital force measurement tool (looks just like a hanging hunting/fishing scale, doesn't it) is kind of an unnecessary solution looking for a problem. Also, hanging this way from what are essentially bodybuilding "ab straps" really only works for people who DO NOT HAVE PRE-EXISTING SHOULDER PROBLEMS.Personally, I decided to combine a chin-up/pull-up bar (the type that hangs from one side of an interior door frame, where the harder you pull, the more friction is applied to keep it from falling off), with a hanging back stretching/compression brace/belt. I don't need the digital thingy. I just slowly bend my knees until I start to feel my lower back relax, then I stay in that position for a couple of minutes. (Obviously I don't suddenly jerk or bounce, because I want to relax my tight back muscles, not to injure them and tie them up in knots.)If you're concerned about your ability to hang without over-stressing your back or your shoulders, I recommend that you sit on a barstool or a similarly tall chair, while you are hanging.

Amazing!
My back gets so tight from being bent over all day at work. I’ve been using this for a couple weeks now and can notice a significant difference in help alleviating tightness, particularly my lat muscles. I’m a tall guy, and it seems like the world was built for those much shorter than me. Thank God for this device helping me stretch my back and decompress my tight muscles. I like to use it for 5-8 minutes a day and meditate while using it, makes such a world of difference in pain and tension relief.

Easy, painless stretching for the back
I was an early convert to the 4 Minute Back. As a senior citizen, I don’t want a product that is too extreme. The 4 Minute Back lets me stretch out my back at a comfortable tension for me to ease my lower back pain. It’s easy to set up and can go anywhere with you.
