'Virgin Killer' is the fourth studio album by the Scorpions, released at the end of 1976, and is the band's shortest album with a length of 35 minutes. It is the second album made in collaboration with producer Dieter Dierks and was another step away from psychedelic influences and towards hard rock. The title 'Virgin Killer' refers to the idea that time is the 'killer' of innocence. Last turntable I had was when I was 15, and I wore down my copy of Taken by Force. I had Virgin Killer on cassette. This is a great album, one of their best with Uli. The vinyl reissue that made me buy a new turntable after 35 years
When I heard that old Scorpions albums were being reissued on vinyl, I had to dip back into records. Last turntable I had was when I was 15, and I wore down my copy of Taken by Force. I had Virgin Killer on cassette. This is a great album, one of their best with Uli. On vinyl, it's really extra special for me. Partly nostalgia, but also forgot what it's like to sit and listen to music at home. I love it.

Not cool
First off, let me say I love these classic Scorpions Uli-era albums. They’re fantastic. Yeah I was excited when I saw these were coming out and ordered all of the old 70s albums and was instantly disappointed that the front and back covers look like bad photo copies of the originals. My original final copies literally look 100 times better. Please have muted pixelated grainy dull colors. They didn’t even bother re-printing the original In Trance cover correctly. Not cool… I also do not know if new remastering was officially approved by the band or not because my originals sound better as well.
