Excellent Quality
This worked great. The fine but allowed for detailed engraving. We bought extra just in case, though they lasted much longer than expected. High quality, would definitely buy again.

Tough to beat for the price.
A great single flute cutter for the money. I'm using it lightly for now, 1" DOC, .005 per flute at 7k RPM around a the outside of a 2-1/4" piece of round stock. Does a nice job and the final cut yields a diameter that matches G-code program with in a couple tenths. Will buy again!

Broke right away
The but broke within the first inch of cutting aluminum. Maybe I just got a bad one but I am not happy with it.

Cuts well but tool undersized
Ran both the 1/4" and 1/8" bits in clear cast acrylic on my CNC using SpeTool recommended rpms but reduced the feed by 10 percent. Both bits cut cleanly leaving very smooth surfaces with minor machining marks that would easily polish out. However, the 1/8" bit is way undersized. It's more like 0.11" and cut my standard test hole jobs way too small. 1/4" bit cut to the correct size. The TAC coating performs well in acrylic.

This is exactly what I needed!
I am amazed at how well these bits cut. We recently started cutting thin aluminum sheets on our CNC router (0.025 inches thick). We were having issues with our expensive, name-brand uncoated carbide bits loading up with aluminum and destroying the cut edges of the parts. I did a bit of research and came across mention of TAC coated bits being the best for aluminum. I decided to order one of Spetool's TAC coated 1/4 inch O flute upcut bits to test out. This bit has blown me away. I have never used a bit before that goes through aluminum so easily and cleanly. I have cut hundreds of feet of .025" anodized aluminum with the same bit, as well as some 3/4" MDF. It is still razor sharp with no visible wear on the edge or the coating. I am cutting it on a vacuum table, with no coolant and no air blast. I can grab the bit immediately after cutting up a sheet and the bit is cool to the touch. The large o-shaped flute never clogs and the surface of the bit is so smooth and slippery that not even painter's tape will stick to it when I run through a strip of it. I am running the 1/4 inch bit at 15,000 RPM and feeding at 60 inches per minute, step cutting parts out in two equal passes and have had no issues whatsoever. I'm sure it can go faster, but I did not want to push it on a project close to deadline. Oh, and it's about a third of the price of the bits we normally buy. Buy this bit. You will be happy that you did.

The right tool for the job!
Used this to cut a pick guard with my CNC for an electric guitar. It worked well and I didn't have any burning which was an issue with a standard end mill bit. Right tool for the job!

These SpeTool bits are superb. They are cut beautifully. Durability is hard to determine quickly, but I'm very happy. There are speeds and feeds available on their website. For the novice CNC'er, I can't think of a better tool brand to invest in.

This CNC router bit is perfect for detailed work and engraving when projects demand a fine touch. The 1/32" cutting diameter is ideal for crisp, intricate designs, while the 1/4" shank lets me use it in my standard collet without swapping parts. The bit arrives sharp and well made, and as long as I take light passes and keep my speeds high, it produces smooth, clean results in soft materials and plastics. I appreciate how well it fits and spins without wobble, which is essential for accurate work. Given how tiny and delicate the tip is, it’s important to dial in proper feeds and speeds—going too fast or taking deep cuts will snap it in a heartbeat. One thing that would help is having an included guide or some recommended cutting parameters for newcomers. Overall, the bit delivers outstanding detail and adds a lot of flexibility to my CNC toolkit. With careful use, it works beautifully for engraving, fine cuts, and lightweight shaping jobs.

Bought for cutting perspex/acrylic with my trim router and it does a fantastic job of that. Cuts are smooth and clean, no chips or gouges and goes through smooth as butter definitely a value cutter for perspex router work
