I purchased this pen because I'm an inspector that frequently works in dark spaces and often needs a hands-free light source. The pocket clip light not only works perfect, but it is much, much brighter than I was expecting. The pen itself is a little on the large size. I'd gotten used to Rite-In-The-Rain and Fischer Space Pens, which are about as compact as you can get. This one is bulky (about the size of a Zebra Z-Grip pen and much heavier). An added bonus when it comes to inspections is the green laser. I can point out things to customers that are out-of-reach, and the green draws the eyes immediately. The charging is a little goofy, as the pen needs to be somewhat firmly seated in the base. I would have preferred a USB-C port, but I understand that doing so would have affected other features. This is more of a personal preference, so I'm not detracting a star. Overall, this is a great pen that's worth the money-- especially with how frequently it's on sale.

Great pen, quality build, working in hospital waking patients early its great to start with the lowest setting flashlight. Wonderful and useful tool, pen writes very smoothly as well.

This one light pen is pretty sweet. The pen itself feels nice in the hand. Has a decent weight feeling to it and the pen itself is a little wider then what I'd consider normal but it still feels nice in my larger hand. The light function is awesome. Two brightness levels one that is like a nice night light brightness while the later setting is extremely bright considering the source I was actually very shocked. I wish it was a bit more directional over the flood light style that it has but beggars can't be choosers. If you need to light something up at night it will get the job done even blinding someome if you direct it towards someone's eyes. The way you turn the flashlight on is neat as well single click for night light and single click for off...double click for brightest light setting. Simple and intuitive in my opinion. The laser light though it works is kinda my only complaint. It's a super weak green light. Idk what I was really expecting with the laser functionality and though it works as it should and gets the job done I guess I just thought it would have a bit more.....strength? Other than that ita a great pen/light. Oh and the charging stand that comes with it is also a nice extra giving your pen a place to sit and charge when not in use! Nothings perfect so 4 stars seems fitting. I also haven't really tested out the battery life to much but so far it seems to last for an 8 hour shift as needed P.s./edit--- there needs to be a better locking function on the pen for the light. The lock that they have is easily disengaged when carrying in different pockets. It tends to just unlock itself and cycle through the flashlights brightness steps until I notice and can re-lock it...I think there needs to be a physical switch to fully lockout the pen light instead of pressing the top button for 2 seconds....just my added 2 cents from daily use with this pen.....still love it though it feels really nice writing with it.

I’ve recently gone down the rabbit hole of olight products. The finish has stayed on with no damage. Even after hanging on my shirt 10 hrs a day, 7 days a week. Battery life found no issues, quick and easy to charge with the stand. The lower pen light just a little dull but handy. Upper light is super bright, surprising for how little it is. Have to be careful doesn’t have a lock out and will turn on. The action to engage and the weight/ balance is spot on. I know pricey for a pen however for the build and quality. Having to use a pen all the time for work and home. I much rather have a solid multi purpose pen than a cheap plastic pen that I either lose or break.
