Awesome Desktop Tripod 100% Worth It
I needed a tripod that could hold me DSLR (Sony A series) and a medium/small sized lens. However, it was cumbersome to use my full-sized Tripod and extend / lean it's leg onto my desktop. So I went it search of a small desktop tripod that could get fairly close (low down) to the desk. This tripod fit the bill ! I had to look through ton of options, but this iFOOTAGE tripod does the job. I like that it's nearly all metal, and feels substantial. The legs stay firmly in place until you move them, and the rubber footpads provide grip and stability. The ball head give good options for positioning your camera. I don't have a super long lens on my camera, but if I did I think this would hold well and have no tipping issues. The screw at the top of the ball head is the larger size (I don't know the standard dimensions for those). Thankfully, the quick release head that I attached to the top can compensate both standard screw sizes. But just a heads up that it's the larger of the two screw sizes. In addition there is a mount screw on the bottom of the tripod, so it looks like you could attach a head there for an additional positioning.

Very sturdy
I used this tripod to hold my camera to use as a webcam/face camera, it's very sturdy and quite adjustable because of the rotating ball head. The quick detach is a nice feature, however sometimes it is difficult to detach, but it just may take some getting used to. Overall, I'd reccomend this product, especially for a use case similar to mine.

Worth every penny!! Great product.
Very well built. So far holding up well. Looks nice very sturdy. Currently using it with a black magic micro studio camera.

So Far So Good
Very nicely built and has all the features that I was looking for. The only drawback that I'm experiencing and I found this to be true from other reviews is that the "quick release" isn't so quick. Sometimes it takes a lot of fiddling with the device to get it to attach and detach which is a little frustrating. Other than that it is a great mini tripod.

Great Quality and Stable
Works great for my Cannon r100, very stable in the two lower positions. And the construction is pretty much all metal making it very durable as well.

Head does not swivel
Innovative and well designed, but a huge oversight - if you want to mount a heavy device like a mic or a camera that needs to tilt 90 degrees, you have only one direction to go towards the slit which lands between the two of the three legs so the whole thing rolls over. A simple solution should have been obvious for such a sophisticated company - swivel the base so I can line the slit with a leg to give the unit stability. Ended up getting rid of it because of this oversight because couldn’t make it work with a heavy mic.

Not as good as previous version
The clipping/locking mechanism is tricky, cumbersome and a bit dangerous for your gear (sometimes you think it's locked but it's not = minus two stars) compared to the previous versions. The legs are also longer compared to previous version, that can be an advantage but not always if your usage is to hold gear on top a limited space (minus one star) and want to shove it in your already stuffed backpack. Basically previous and more compact version was safer, sturdier, and better fit for a usage without a monopod · imo.

Well made but difficult to use the first time
No instructions came with it. The 1/4 thread screw was not obvious but thankfully the picture on this listing in Amazon showed that you have to push down to get it to 1/4 thread. The biggest irritation was the "quick" release. I had to watch a Youtube video to learn how it works but it was not obvious and no instructions. Once you figure it out/learn it, you're good to go. VERY well made. They just forgot the finishing touches like a document that describes HOW to use it.

Nice and sturdy. I use it for macro of small on the ground objects. Only thing is it's a little stiff to open the legs at this point, but I am sure it will get easier with use.
