Flea and Tick Collar for Dogs, 8 Months Prevention, 2 Count, Ingredients Protection, Waterproof, One Size Fits All

When I removed these collars from their packages, the smell from the flea/tick ingredience was overbearing, even to me. When I put them on my dogs, both dogs immediately had fits over the odor. They both began pawing at them, rolling on the ground trying to get them off. I removed the collars and let them sit in the sun and fresh air for a week which really helped reduce the odor. My dogs were okay with them after that, however, they are not fastened real well. My dogs like to play wrestle with one another and one of the collars came off and was lost. I secured the remaining collar with a small plastic wire tie. After the odor was reduced, I can only assume the collars still work as advertised. I didn't have a problem with fleas or ticks when using the remaining collar and used it for about 6 months.

I got this 2 pack of collars for my daschunds. Being its a bit wider, I put it on my standard girl instead of my mini male. At the end of one week with it, I noticed an extremely large lump on the right side of her neck and that she was acting almost like she had the flu or something(this is the only new addition to her daily routine and products). We took the collar off her last night about 10pm. Today at noon, the lump is almost gone.I'm not going to say the product is bad because it could just be an allergy for her. Just pay attention to your babies!

My poor Bailey was suffering from fleas for almost the whole summer this year and nothing was working. Shockingly, my least expensive option ended up being my best one! Try this first before grabbing all types of sprays and medication. She hasn’t had fleas since July now

I really wanted to like this because it is much cheaper than the Soresto. It worked at first, but after about 6 weeks we were finding fleas on our babies again.

Has weird smell, had to let it air out some before putting on my dog. Not sure it really works because my dog still scratches

I received these and my main complaint is that they do not secure well to your pet. There is only one plastic piece that it goes through when you put it around the neck and it is not a snug fit so it constantly works out of it and I find it on the floor. I have two dogs that I got these for and one of them had a reaction to it and I had to remove it. She does however has skin allergies so that could have been part of her problems.

This took about 2 days to fully work on both of our dogs. At the end of the 2nd day, I was finding dead ticks in the floor.
