They are socks. Comfortable, but tad bit on the small side. The material is relatively thin, though, so they're not great cushion for running and will probably wear faster.

How I Used Them Every year as part of our Christmas stockings, my husband and I buy socks for each other to use throughout the year. He likes dark-colored ankle socks with cushioning. I bought these last month for this year’s Xmas socks. What I/He Liked -Bang for your buck-12 pairs of socks for the price was pretty decent. Since these are the socks we buy for the whole year, I wanted to make sure he got as many pairs as possible for a cheaper price. -Design/material-we love the material and they are soft to the touch. They are breathable and come in various colors that fit his style best. What Isn’t the Best -These may say “Cushioned”, but man do I feel like that’s a lie. I have had multiple pairs of running socks that are truly “cushioned” and they are 100% way better than these. They don’t have added support in the heel, which is what my husband prefers. Be warned: these are NOT noticeably more cushioned in high impact areas. -They are already starting to lose their soft feeling after 1 month of wearing them everyday. They are starting to pill and aren’t as soft. They felt nice for the first few wears, but not so much anymore. Final Thoughts I would NOT buy these again for myself or my husband. They aren’t as cushiony as I’d like them to be, and are wearing out after a while of consistently wearing them. I think in the future I’ll shell out the money for more supportive socks!
