This is great for camper. It collapses small enough to go in storage and light weight. I would recommend this ladder

Arrived as described on time. No issues. Unpacked quickly and used it immediately to replace some smoke detectors that were long passed their expiration date (who knew these things expired. 10 years from installation date in case you're wondering.) No issues setting the ladder up. It was quick. I did punch my fingers taking the ladder down so I'll have to figure out how to prevent that in the future. It packed up quickly and I stuck it in the corner of a closet. So much easier than getting the aluminum ladder out of the garage!

It definitely takes practice to figure out how to best set up and collapse this ladder. Honestly I still am unsure if one or two people works best while doing so. You do have to take extra precaution that your fingers don’t get in between the rails but that is a bit challenging given how you have to collapse it etc. However, it does collapse down to a very small footprint which is what I need as I have minimal storage areas. It was also just tall enough for me to get into my attic to inspect leaky AC pipes. 6” shorter and I would not have made it up as my ceilings are high. It shakes when going up and down so having someone on hand with you does alleviate some of the stress about its shakiness. After a few times up and down I did feel confident it wouldn’t collapse!

The product is good and strong, low space

It’s totally wobbly and the brackets that you would push down on any other ladder, face up, so you push them down to close the ladder. I don’t know why that was an idea. It is compact and easy to move, but to use it as a ladder and climb it, I don’t recommend for any adult that has any chance of falling.

I had no idea something so heavy could be so wobbly and unstable. I only used it in the A frame position but on flat, hard surface it's unstable making it difficult to get much height and work from. There is no locking mechanism for the many telescopic joints so they constantly swivel and move in various directions. Extending is relatively easy but it's very awkward to retract. I bought it to use in the motorhome because it retracted into a small size and didn't take up much storage space but the big "stabilizer" bar needed on the bottom eliminated that benefit.. Absolutely not worth the money and I had to pay the cost of return shipping. So if I get the refund, this lesson only cost $65.

I like that it is compact and adjustable ladder. Only wish it was a little longer.

My fiance wouldn't let me write a review with 5 stars unless I mentioned that it scares them when disassembling. The ladder takes two people to fold up, and you have to be careful, especially on the lower part, not to slam your fingers!
