The Essential Jaco Pastorius (Bass Recorded Versions)

I bought this book a couple of years ago mainly for the teen town track which took me 6 months to play fluently. I love the chicken and come on come over.If your a bass player and love Jaco then you'll love this book.David Fletcher

would have been better had the CD been one you could stop and start - in ran thru and the bass wasn't streamed. with some CDs the bass comes thru one speaker and the rest thru the other. then when you practice you can hear it all together or you can turn off a speaker to remove the bass and play your own bass accompaniment. you cannot do that with this CD.

It contains loads of Jaco favourites from Donna Lee to the Chicken! Well written and easy to read. It is an advanced book and not easy but if you're looking for a challenge worth playing then this is one of the best books out!
