PRETEX Pruning Shears

I have used my new secateurs a few times now and like them a lot. Cuts thick branches easily, smallish in size, which make them easy to use. I can open and close the locking catch with one finger. The loop is handy for hanging the secateurs up. Great value for money.

Arrived promptly and well packaged. Tried them on some very tenacious yucca leaves, and was very impressed how they cut. Handy wrist strap. Not too heavy. Firm safety clip. Comfortable hand grip. All in all very pleased with the quality and cost, under £10.

Could have been a bit stronger and larger. Difficult to tell by the photo. Just OK for what we could afford as we are pensioners.

I bought a couple of these (to improve the chance of finding one when I need it). Hang it on your belt or put it in your (big) pocket and it will be ready to trim any wayward bramble / nettle / overhanging (thinnish) branch that you encounter. Very sharp - cuts well.

Just the job! Good price. Comfortable in the hand and not too heavy. The lock is easy to use one-handed and does the job of pruning well. Nicely made. Good design. Has a handy cord to hang on a hook in the shed. Very pleased.

These are really good. Fit nicely in your hand and they're not too heavy. What's more important for me, as I have arthritis in my fingers, is that you don't need a lot of pressure. They cut easily through quite sturdy branches. A good buy.

Die Gartenschere macht soweit einen guten Eindruck, die Schneide ist scharf und auch für präzises Schneiden gut zu nutzen. Die Gummierung des Griffs liegt auch schön stabil in der Hand - allerdings würde sie mit einer richtigen "Männerpranke" wohl nicht gut zu nutzen sein. Das Band zum Aufhängen ist auch praktisch, da kann ich die Schere auch einfach mal fallen lassen, wenn ich sie mir damit ums Handgelenk gebunden habe und beide Hände brauche. Einziges Manko ist der ziemlich strenge, chemische Geruch, den die Schere am Anfang verströmt, hoffentlich gibt sich das. Da ich bei der Gartenarbeit aber meist Handschuhe trage, mache ich mir keine Sorgen wegen einer Gefährdung durch Chemikalien. NACHTRAG: Der Geruch ist mittlerweile weg! Und eine einhändige Bedienbarkeit ist auch nicht wirklich gegeben: die kleine rote Sperre sitzt extrem spack, die kann ich nur mit der zweiten Hand lösen. Auch das gibt sich vielleicht bei längerem Gebrauch. NACHTRAG: Der Sperrhebel lässt sich jetzt auch gut mit dem Daumen öffnen und schließen. Für den Preis ist es aber eine ziemlich praktische Gartenschere, würde ich wieder kaufen. NACHTRAG: Da sich auch die beiden zuerst nachteiligen Punkte Geruch und nicht einhändig nutzbar zum positiven geändert haben, habe ich die Bewertung von vier auf fünf Sterne erhöht - ich habe an der Schere (vor allem zu dem Preis) überhaupt nichts auszusagen. TOP!

Le sécateur est vraiment bien. Le levier de sécurité rassure et il coupe facilement les branches. Ça rend le jardinage plus simple et agréable. Un outil simple mais vraiment utile à avoir.
