How does this attach to the wall? I have a slot with two screw holes from previous unit ...will this fit?

I purchased this product to replace Liftmaster 41C494 which had been previously installed. The screw holes on this unit aligned perfectly with the holes drilled for the previous unit.

I currently have this model and it's time to replace can I upgrade to a 41a7185-1 security +2.0 myo?

No the Security+2.0 is not compatible.

What color is the led light on the button

it is a green led in the center of the white opaque square. It blinks when you disarm it from remotes that may try to open the door. Special button, bottom left, that engages and disengages the disarm feature. The light is always on and not blinking to help find the switch in the dark.
