Savannah: A LitRPG Adventure (System Universe, Book 3)

Beginnings of intrigue and more adventures.
Savannah continues the path of 5 out of 5 stars that Torith took up. The story is engaging, the character arcs continue to progress, the world-building continues apace, and the plotlines major and minor ensure that the only reason you have for keeping track of how many pages are left is to despair that the book is almost done. This is a good read well worth the time and money.

Good action but not as funny as in book two
In book three Derek heads to the city of Savannah to check things out and set up shop. He’s already made a good number of contacts so now it’s time to meet them face to face. He brings his crew along with him so they can pursue their own dreams.I found that book three was funny but not as funny as book two. Some of Derek’s eccentricities are toned down. Yes, he still goes to dungeons and works on his crafts, and he’s been known to pull a shadow creature out of nowhere for the extra coin, but I missed the crazy righteous he exhibited in book two.Don’t get me wrong, this is still a good read. The story flows well and sets up some action in book four. Of the new crop of Aethon writers, I’d save this is my favorite author. For right now. It could change tomorrow because that’s how these things go.The editing once again is a letdown. The stats are fine, and I’m waiting for Derek’s old system to catch up with this world but that hasn’t happened yet. All in all, I enjoyed this and had a few laughs along the way. Recommended 5/5*

enjoyable book
This was another good book in the series but not my favorite. It had way to much filler, only occasionally coming back around to the meat and potatoes of what I enjoy about this series.

can’t stop reading
Blasting through this series! It is witty, fun, storyline is good, and the character development is strong. Hope it keeps going strong.

Peak Series!
This series just keeps getting better and better! That ending was spot on so good. Again, the characters are really so validating, especially the intro of Edgar and Jacks son. I’m loving Derek’s power-leveling and hope for more!

Fun series
MC is OP, but the author makes it work by having a ton of side character development it's honestly a very enjoyable series so far.

Great, but needs way more editing.
The story was amazing as I'm sure you'd have guessed. However, there was at least 40 spelling errors and a dozen narrative errors. Truly, it brings this book down from what should've been five stars to my rating of four instead. A shame for sure.

Book three keeps with my expectations
Even in book 3. The story just keeps getting. The only issue that I have with this book is, that there are more errors that would have been caught by a little better proofreading.Having said that: this is still leagues above most of the litRPG books that I've been reading in the last years

Great series
I like the series, although I liked more the first 2 books than this one, but it's ok, building and all that. I also would've liked the book to be longer. And finally at the end of the book, Derek's final stats, level 165, but before that he was 171. Just saying.
