My 9-year-old daughter has literally spent hours reading this book. She has even done some of the crafts (with Mom's help, and I don't usually get around to actually crafting stuff). If you have a kiddo who loves horses, I highly recommend this book. It is full of real information and is very engaging for kids.

My 8 year old daughter rides horses and loves everything about them. This book is her favorite book. She frequently tells me interesting horse facts that she has learned or shows me craft projects she did from the book. The layout is easy to follow and has nice illustrations. The book offers a lot of variety so it holds her interest. I highly recommend this book for any kid that has a heart for horses.

I bought this book for my 9 year old daughter so she would have something to read for her homework. She loved the book and read it every day. It's filled with great facts and pictures and even an art section on how to draw a horse. We were so happy with this purchase. Perfect for any child with a love of horses.

I got this for the little girl across the street- her birthday. She is a professional rider, so I was a little miffed about the intro into actually getting on a horse. I suppose if you got this book for someone who knows NOTHING about horses that part would be helpful. Oh well. Plenty to read and do otherwise.

I bought a bunch of these books to give to my young riding students for Christmas. Every one of them LOVED it and I ended up giving them to the older girls, too, because they were such great books! They are full of info, facts, crafts, recipes, reviews, how-to's, etc. The moms also commented on how much they loved them.

My daughter is obsessed with horses and loved her present! She was upset she couldn't finish it in one night, but she's learning a lot and there's a bunch of activities for us to do too

Purchased for grand-daughter who loves horses. This is a real book with real information and she is going to love it.

I have bought a few of these over the years. Having a horse crazy daughter I’ve gone through many of her books and this is one of my favorites. I gift to every horse crazy girl I meet.
