This umbrella has been a life saver. A great compact size yet big enough to keep the rain away. It's light weight but sturdy and I love that it opens automatically and closes the same way... No pulling and tugging!! I am happy with my purchase and give it two thumbs up!

Built nice, sheds the water, works as advertised, so very convenient. Enough coverage for adults to stay dry. Seems color fast after several good soakings. Fits in just about any storage cubby and even in a cargo pants pocket or a small purse. Got one for every vehicle.

Wanted a shorter and smaller canopy low cost umbrella and this umbrella is good for my needs, it will work for my upcoming trip. It appears to have a strong support shaft and upgraded springs and stronger enhanced metal ribs, but also the metal tips are exposed and possibly have less attachment thread than needed - it would be easy to repair if the threads broke loose. It seems like an upgraded and inexpensive umbrella. It's not automatic shut, it's click to collapse. The umbrella has to be fully clicked shut (using both hands) to engage the re-opening mechanism to get it to reopen again. If the umbrella is already open (in the rain) and the button on the handle is accidentally bumped, the umbrella collapses automatically, and both hands (and strength) are used to get the wet umbrella to shut all the way before it can re-open again. Design is easily accidentally triggered to collapse in the rain The case was made of fleece terry cloth and washed up nice and is big enough to easily use for the umbrella. Unpackaged with no odor, but the umbrella and case were rinsed to remove the invisible manufacturing dust.

I bought this umbrella to go on an Alaskan cruise this fall and wanted a smaller umbrella that would be easy to carry and still give me plenty of protection from the rain. This one worked perfectly. It fit easily into my backpack but still was plenty big enough to keep me dry, even in heavier rain. Bonus that the sleeve seems to be waterproof and after the umbrella is rolled up (and most of the water squeezed out), it did not get anything else in my backpack wet. Also the image is very pretty!

Absolutely love this umbrella! It’s compact, fits perfectly into my bag or backpack, works just fine and comes with a nice sleeve to keep it in. Handy and durable.

Love this! Lightweight, dries fast, opens and closes easily--you do have to push on both top and handle to telescope the stem to its smallest size, but this takes minimal strength. It did reverse itself in the wind but blew back almost immediately with no damage. It's a joy to walk under the bloom--despite the black top, it doesn't feel dark at all. Only my third time in the rain--hope it continues to operate this well all season. Note to manufacturer: the accompanying sleeve is cruelly narrow and I wish your name was not emblazoned so large upon it.

The ONLY thing negative I have to say about the item is the storage bag you store it in while not in use. Rather than a weatherproof resilient nylon, it's like a velvety bag that collects dust and any type of small debris. The umbrella itself is great. Immediate opening to shield you from rain with a very good spring system. Only one use so far in the rain and it was a champ. Actually larger when open than I expected, especially for the price, going to order one for the wife in a more decorative style than my basic black. Great bargain for the buck, will update later after more use. Al Krause

Solid umbrella, robust and works well

J'en ai acheté deux pour mes enfants . Je cherchais un modele simple à ouvrir et à fermer, pas trop encombrant une fois plié et capable de rester au vent sans se retourner. Je les aient acheté en septembre, et j'ai volontairement attendu de bien pouvoir les utiliser dans des situations de pluie et de vent. Les petites mains de 8 et 10 ans ont eu du mal au début avec la fermeture, mais je n'avais pas compris qu'il fallait appuyer de nouveau sur le bouton pour une fermeture automatique... Donc un bouton pour ouvrir et fermer. Plié, il rentre dans la poche de leur sac a dos et n'est pas lourd. Déplié, il est grand et la qualité est au rdv . Il ne s'est pas retourné une seule fois face au vent , gros point positif pour moi. La poigne est agréable. Je m'intéresse simplement sur le choix d'une housse de protection en velours, une matière similaire au parapluie aurait été plus appréciable mais bon cela reste un détail qui n'impacte pas l'utilisation . Ravie de cet achat qui correspond à ce que j'attendais.

J'aime tout de ce parapluie : bel étui en velours, facile à ouvrir et à refermer. Mécanisme semble solide et s'ouvre un peu sec, il faut bien le tenir. Une fois fermé, se range bien dans un sac ou un fourre-tout, pas encombrant, pas lourd, mais on sent tout de même la qualité, pas super léger qui menace de casser à tout moment. Non pas du tout, ce parapluie est solide et bien construit. Je le trouve mignon et agréable à utiliser. Juste le bon format. Je l'ai utilisé lorsque j'attendais en file pour aller à une croisière, il est léger, facile à tenir et semble robuste contre les vents. Je crois que c'est un bon parapluie qui va durer longtemps.
