Nice complete set with a high quality crimper, OK value.
I don't have a professional need for one, but outside of cabling jobs around my house I have done a few for friends and aside from ensuring better connections, having a good ferrule crimper can make any installation look professional. Rather than forming little hooks in the end of my wiring, or just jamming it into a terminal and screwing it down, having a nice crimped ferrule on the end makes for a much easier install, with more consistent connections.Pros:+ High quality easy to use crimper.+ Tons of ferrules of all sizes, plenty to cover the cabling needs of most homes and small offices.+ The included ferrules are good quality, and it comes with both insulated and non.+ Makes a good solid connection every time, I have yet to mangle a crimp.+ Excellent results with a nice, neat, professional looking crimped end every time.Cons:- Instructions were in German, but honestly you don't really need them anyway.Overall, this is a high-quality crimper in a nice complete package that includes enough ferrules that your average home or small business user won't need to refill for quite some time. It is priced in a similar same range as others like it, though there are some which offer just as complete a setup as this for less.

Easy to use and really neatens up terminal wiring
This is a great kit to get started using ferrules on wiring. It includes the crimper, an organizer box with 2000 assorted ferrules, and a set of instructions that are inexplicably in German. This is fine because you really don't need the instructions. The crimper is weighty and well suited to its job. Nothing feels flimsy about it, but it does have the look and feel of an imported value tool. I don't fault it for that, that's exactly what it is. The business end (crimper dies) align precisely enough to crimp down to quite small wires (the kit goes down to 22ga), and the handles are secure and sturdy feeling. The handles are plastic with a grippier overmold. The crimper has a ratchet action so it will not release until a crimp is completed. I have not had any problems with alignment or missed crimps - simply put the ferrule over the wire end, insert into the center of the dies, and squeeze through the cycle and it's done in one shot. The ferrules come out square with the wires securely held inside a corrugated crimp pattern. The ferrules are aplenty in this kit. There are insulated and uninsulated ones, I prefer using the insulated ones. And it's not like they give 100 insulated ones and 1900 uninsulated - the distribution is more even. I have been using mostly 18ga ferrules and remember that the kit came with 150 insulated ferrules in that size to start. The insulation collar not only looks good and ensures the wire is shielded near the terminal, but it also makes it easy to insert fully into the die without going too deep.Installing a ferrule is as quick or quicker than twisting the wire ends, and does a few things that I appreciate. First, it makes a solid connection at a screw terminal as the crimped ferrule doesn't squish down or potentially spread some of the conductors out from under the screw. Second, it eliminates the possibility of an errant strand being left out of the terminal and possibly causing a short. Third, the results look a lot more professional. This is a great tool for a lot of the things I dabble in. 3D printers, LED lighting, home automation/security interfacing all are made neater and easier with ferrules. And you get a lot for your money in this kit.

Don't get scammed
The tool and the fasteners work very well, but don't get scammed by buying the other box of connectors they will not work in the tool that comes with, you will need to buy the other tool for the bigger connectors

Simple and effective tool for crimping wire
Nice package of crimping tool and ferrules of various sizes. The crimping tool is very easy to use, simply slide a ferrule over the end of the bare wire, insert into the tool and squeeze the handle. The result is a very nice, strong and clean looking crimp. The tool feels well made in your hand and while crimping. I expect it will last a long time. Not every wiring situation needs a crimp, but when you can use a crimp it just works well.

Quality precision tool
I used these to make up the control panel on a CNC router build, really made connections easier. Gives everything a very professional look and makes reconfiguring mush simpler. Good assortment of sizes. Crimper auto adjusts to correct size very well.

Impressive Ferrule Crimping tool!
I'm using this for my 3D printing I do, I like to build 3d printers and make cheap one work and run better. When replacing the mainboard I love to use ferrules over just bare wires. Bare wires can cause issues and I've seen a few such as arching within a screw down terminal. A ferrule prevents that as I don't want a potential fire. I've seen a few melted screw down terminals myself and online. So this kit fixes that problem. Plenty of sizes to choose from and the tool works great!

Very tiny connectors
Not what I was expecting. The connectors are extremely tiny and I have zero use for it. So small, it's useless for car auto installations.

Works
Ratchet function failed on crimping #7 Ferule to #8AWG 1650 strand tinned copper wire #8 ferrule was too small in diameter to slide fine wires in. However Crimp was secured firmly. Hopefully it was a product of largest applicable size limitation.
