I’ve only just started reading, and I adore this book. It’s amazing to think that 100+ years ago, someone was keeping the same kind of journal we might keep today; observations, salient quotes, sketches. The author writes in a way that makes her experiences so clear while remaining concise in her writing. The illustrations are beautiful.This copy nicely printed on high quality paper.

Eine neue Ausgabe eines alten Tagebuch. Mit wunderschönen Zeichnungen, Texten und interessanten Detail. In den lavendelfarbenen Leineneinband eingebettet Ist leicht erhaben das zarte Bild der Künstlerin. Die Farbe der Buchseiten erinnert an altes Papier, das Buch an sich ist schwer. Wer Tagebücher mag, die alte Zeit, und sich an Handschriften nicht stört, für den ist das Buch ein Juwel.

Il libro è stupendo! L'accuratezza dei particolari colpisce sia per quanto riguarda le illustrazione che la parte descrittiva. La scrittura sembra manoscritta e questo aggiunge un fascino retrò al volume. Ottima anche la qualità della carta. Davvero un' opera ricercata e raffinata.
