I have had a rodent problem in my basement for months and I've been trying to fill gaps and stuff holes. This arrived today and I spent the evening poking the camera behind and under things around the outside and inside of my house. I was able to find a hole from both inside and out and fill it, hopefully this solves my issue.The tool is easy to use and very bright. The picture quality is okay, sometimes it takes a second to focus. For use it's easier to record videos than take still shots because having a camera on a long wire is a bit too jittery for the shutter speed of the tool.The app that comes with this tool is incredibly straightforward and took me no time to learn. It can take still photos and record videos. Generally I have been using it without recording and just looking at the screen.The wire is stiff and holds up for the whole distance of the tool. It's easy to maneuver around and adjust the wire.Edited to add: I haven't seen a mouse since I filled the hole I found with this tool. I've used it to explore other issues in my house. It's great.

Love this camera! Opened the box, plugged it into my phone, installed the app and using it in under 2 min. Great picture for the price and size. Used it for looking behind the fridge, travel the dryer vent looking for blockages and inside walls looking hidden pipe. Great purchase so far!

The app auto-starts when the camera is plugged in. (Good).Hard to orient the camera so camera view is right side up. (annoying)5 meter flexible cable is, in my opinion, too long. I'd like a 1-1.5 m long cable. (annoying)Overall, it works and I am happy with the image quality and value.

This is almost "plug and play," but you do need to install the "UseePlus" app.I was able to do this from the Apple App store even on my long-unused iPhone 6 running IOS 12, as it has no phone or internet service, but was connected to WiFi, so it worked, mostly.The specs say the camera delivers 1280x720 resolution, but as far as I can tell, it's only in 4:3 format and never fills the full screen of the iPhone. See the frame cap: this cap shows what the app allows you to see. It never fills the screen.You can rotate the image, which is handy. This is because these endoscopes are difficult to orient in the "up" direction. It's easier to rotate the image to get it upright.When you rotate the image using the app, and turn the iPhone to horizontal, the image is a bit larger, but still never fills the screen, wasting a lot of the iPhone's real estate.Nonetheless, the camera is fairly responsive with little lag, and with the built-in LED lighting on, has good depth of field and acceptable resolution. It is a $20 camera, after all.The camera focuses best at around 2 inches from the subject.The camera is powered by the phone's battery. No idea how long it will last, especially with an ancient iPhone powering it.I purchased an iPhone Lightning splitter [ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B3RC3VH8?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details ] designed to allow you to charge the iPhone while using Lightning earbuds. My idea was to keep power to the phone while I used the camera.But plugging the camera into the "earphone" part of the adapter only returned the dreaded, "Accessory Not Supported" placard. See the picture. So it's the camera's battery or nothing.Overall, this inexpensive camera will work for what I need, and allows me to find a use for an iPhone I put in the drawer years ago.

I needed to explore the very tight space behind the back of my refrigerator and the back wall. Since the cable is flexible, it would not go exactly where I wanted it to go. I tied the cable near the camera end to a skinny round plastic rod 1/4 inch, 2 feet long with plastic ties. Now I could maneuver the camera and view any areas I wanted to see.There are numerous uses that it can be put to. I also used it to view the condition of the exterior caulking around my windows without climbing a ladder.

It has 6 feet of semirigid cable that camera is attached to it. I tested it and you can extend up to 3 feet and camera will stay straight like on wooden stick, after that cable being heavy starts to cave .But stays stiff!I think I like this feature the best ! I usually inspect crevice's in boats and confined places and basically need stiff cable and I push it from outside.2. Camera came with extra attachments like: hook magnet and angle mirror. I like Magnet part for picking up fallen tool and pieces, Hook is good idea where u can hook camera and pull if you cannot push it or you can hook tool or items that can be hooked.Angle mirror another excellent idea if you want to look around corner. NOTE: mirror is covered with protective plastic! Wow, they went that far with details!Camera part have grove where attachments are clipped on and securely tighten. Love that part3. It also has little box with dial for light intensity. Great feature.Overall this is one of the best and most useful attachments for iPhone ever made.Image is sharp and resolution is very good. App is simple and really functional.It has hundred if uses around house for handy man and others with their hobbies.Cons:Only one I could come up is focus point, object has to be 1 inch away from camera to be sharp.if you need better image you can zoom in App for better view. no big deal cable is stiff and u can easily position camera to what you need to see sharp.Also in my case dial for light intensity control is not 100% linear. It does dims and reaches maximum except its not smooth fade in -fade out effect like you are used to it in movies. But this is not important. You can adjust light intensity pretty good.
