Great makeshift beeper for door lock chirp
I got this to install onto my wife's 2015 Mini Cooper S. For some reason, her car doesn't come standard with the BMW alarm module. This makes the car lacklustering in terms of locking and unlocking the car because I cannot get a audible confirmation of the lock mechanism's status. When I come across this, I listened to the sample beeping noise and decided to take a leap of faith and retrofit it to my wife's car. I hooked this up to a relay where I take the 12v power directly from the power fuse box's empty fuse spot. Then the signal for activating the relay comes from the fuel door locking mechanism. That signal runs at 5 volts, so it's enough to activate the relay and make the beeping sound each time the fuel door is being locked or unlocked. This whole circuitry and beeping sound coincides with when the door is being locked and unlocked. So that's a success. The only minor issue is the beeping sound itself because the fuel door lock power does attenuate for a full second, so the beep is quite long, almost a good buzz-beep like. I was hoping to achieve a 0.25 second chirp-like beep, but I haven't figured out a way to achieve this, yet. But overall, this beeper works, it does what it says, beep, upon power up. And it's loud enough to be heard. I've been using this set for over 3 months now, so far so good. Highly recommend this for anyone who's looking for a good steady beeper unit.

Easy to install..
I wired these to a backup lamp along with a relay, switch, and fuse. This way they only work in reverse, AND when I want them to. My wife thinks it's embarrassing to have our car with a backup siren. I agree it's overkill sometimes, but when backing out around buildings or when children are around I'd rather have the sound. The installation is very easy. Wiring isn't very complicated either. I do wish these came with caps to protect the positive terminal. I just coated the terminals with "liquid tape".

Good build quality! Easy to install! Includes two backup alarms!
The media could not be loaded. I was pleasantly surprised by the durability and build quality of these backup alarms. The kit includes two backup alarms along with short positive (+) and negative (-) wiring with ring connectors. I installed one underneath the bumper area and one under the hood of my vehicle. You can easily wire the backup alarms and install them yourself as long as you have the appropriate skill, tools, knowledge of your vehicle, and the appropriate gauge extra wiring and hardware if needed. The alarms can be mounted facing different directions using the pre-formed/drilled holes built into the base of each backup alarm. You can also wire them to a switch which will allow you to control when to use the backup alarms. So far I have used these backup alarms for awhile now and I haven’t had any problems with them.

Easy to install and loud 2-pack of backup alarms!
This is just a described. It is easy to install, especially if you already have wiring in place like I did.I used this to replace the backup alarm on my Sprinter van. I cut off the connector from the old alarm and spliced the provided wires to the factory connector, then mounted the alarm with self tapping metal screws (not provided) and that was it.This is a good replacement option for you original alarm, although you may need to adapt your wiring and location, or you can add to an existing vehicle without an alarm if you follow the directions and have the ability to do some basic wiring.I only used one on my van, so I have a space, but if you have a much larger vehicle you may want to use both.

LOUD!
Tested prior to install. Definitely loud intermittent beeps. Well made, you can feel the quality.

Loud and easy to install
These are as loud as claimed. Very obnoxious, but that's the point! These were also easy to install once I found the wiring for the backup light.

Got this for my diesel-pusher motorhome. Loud warning for anyone that might get in the way. :-)
For a large motorhome there is plenty of space under the rear cap to mount this device and hook it directly to the backup lights. It can sit there safe and dry.I have rear camera with backup function, so I can largely watch directly to see that I do not hit something, but there was no warning for others when I start to back up. So, one could still imagine someone, not knowing I was starting to back up, walking across behind her big backside. This backup alarm helps warn anyone that might think they can safely walk behind the motorhome as it starts moving. Anything to stop from backing into someone and maybe knock them over or worse. This alarm is certainly LOUD enough that it should be plenty warning for people to stay at a distance. :-)Nice device to bolt directly to the chassis.
