Best portable practice amp, barre NONE! GET ONE!
This is a 6-7 month review. Let me begin by saying I have put this amp through it's paces and it STILL delivers probably the best sound, amp per amp lol, than ANY and I mean ANY other micro amp in it's category. It has thousands of settings and combination of settings and amp emulations that can range from sparkling cleans to death metal. If I was to suggest an amp to a beginner or pro show needs a travel companion, THIS IS THE ONE. The price is affordable, thankfully, and it's small enough to fit in almost every guitar case. Rechargeable, easy to set and forget, and has a tuner. If you need a review to make a choice, trust this random Amazon review and I'm sure lots of other reviews. THIS MICRO SPARK ROCKS! Literally!

Excellent little amp.
I really love this little amp! I wanted something small for practice, and having the multitudes of amp models and effects is awesome. The rechargeable battery sets longer than me, and the compact size makes it easy to carry around. The sound is gratifying for its size and the bluetooth connectivity makes it a great speaker for your phone, etc. The digital output is a real bonus too, I feed it into GarageBand with a USB cable and couldn't ask for anything more.

Surprisingly good. Almost great.
So I’m a pretty avid guitarist. I play quite a bit, I have six or seven guitars and 4 amps (excluding the spark). I purchased this little guy thinking that I could use it to travel or even just to play elsewhere in my house from where my amps and pedals are set up. My Mesa combo weighs something like 75 pounds and that’s before you include the pedal board or anything else. So it doesn’t get moved too much. The Spark is truly tiny, but solid, and it looks and feels like a luxury product. The first picture is it sitting on top of my Marshall head and Mesa boogie Cali tweed. Fits right in. I’m pretty devoted to tube amps and tube sound. And honestly I was very skeptical. But I love this thing. No. It’s not as loud as my 40W class A Boogie, which incidentally has a 5w power setting, it’s not even close to as loud as that 5W setting (despite also nominally being 5W although clearly not Class A). But that’s ok. I won’t be playing venues with it. It does a great job being just loud enough to enjoy in a room. One of my favourite features is actually its ability to simultaneously stream music and play guitar. All while maintaining reasonably decent fidelity. Despite it being tiny and not that loud, it does a very good job simulating *some* of the sound and feel of a much bigger, much more expensive amp running at full tilt. It has a bunch of features that I haven’t even explored yet but so far I think it’s fantastic, and for 100 or so bucks It’s definitely worth it. Cheers all.

shockingly good for its size; a blast to use
I really can't believe how good this sounds.I'm not an amp aficionado or anything like that, but when everyone else was saying this was a great home practice amp, I had trouble believing that a tiny bluetooth speaker could be anywhere near as good as everybody was saying.I was _wrong_. It is absolutely fantastic. The app works well, it sounds great.... I wish something like this had existed at anywhere near this price point when I was a kid.Get a wireless transmitter for your guitar and play guitar with no wires and no excuses. You're set up and playing in 30 seconds or less.

Nifty Little Gadget
Just to flex my street cred (kidding), I've played guitar for 25 years and have several amps ranging from tubed half stacks to smaller, lo-watt combos, to a couple other battery powered amps because they're fun to play even after the neighbors go to bed. This is my first experience with a Positive Grid product and so far the impressions are good.I purchased the Spark Go to dip my toe into the world of Spark. The price is really good for what you get. At it's core, the device itself is essentially a bluetooth speaker with a quarter-inch input and 4 memory banks for configurations saved in the app.The app is where the real power is. It's fun to play around with the pedal settings and dial in a sound worthy of the 4 memory slots. I'm still trying to decide. You could theoretically use this without the app, but half the fun is configuring the sounds that make you want to practice and ultimately not have to use the app so much once it's all set up. The UX of the app is pretty okay. Lots of skeuomorphic elements that fans of GarageBand will find familiar. The sound is decent, especially for drives, modulation and delays. Reverb is laughable and barely audible through this speaker. It feels solid and a lovely little piece of kit.I wish there was a drummer built in, but bluetooth makes it easy to stream drumming backing tracks. Time will tell how this amp works down the road. Who knows if they stop supporting the app / device down the road and we all have fancy door-stops. But hopefully this is something... disruptive to an industry that will not be disrupted. The Spark makes it easy to get going and makes practicing more accessible. I'm still messing with the settings more than I'm playing the guitar, but i'll find my stride soon-enough. I would recommend buying this for any guitarist that's half-way tech savvy.

Love this little thing!
Love this tiny amp! This is perfect for the living room couch, office desk, etc. The app works great. The tone is good for such a small thing. You can customize plenty of patches with amps and effects. Also has an AI thing in the app where you can ask/search for a tone and it returns patches. The AI patches aren't always good but it's a neat feature if you want a patch to start with and then further customize.
