Upgraded 2Pcs 2169142 Refrigerator Evaporator Fan Blade, Replacement Part for Whirlpool/Amana/Kenmore/Jenn-Air/KitchenAid Refrigerators, Replaces WP2169142, AP6005911, 12217201

This fan blade was a perfect fit in my Frigidaire side-by-side. I heard a loud buzzing sound from my fridge on a Saturday night. Looked it up and saw that the condenser fan was the most likely suspect (especially since it sounded like it was middle-back of the freezer). It took me 20 minutes to remove the ice maker and back cover to confirm. Sure enough - one of the four fan blades had snapped. I ordered this, got it on Sunday afternoon, swapped the old one for this (no screws or clips on mine), put everything back together, and it was good to go. Still no issues a few weeks later, and it's as quiet as it was before the old blade broke. Just keep track of your screws when you disassemble everything--I had one of the cover screws drop into the bottom freezer drawer during reassembly!

Sorry, I don’t have any video or pictures as I needed to replace the fan. This is the most common part that breaks in a refrigerator if you’re handy with a screwdriver, which is all you need. If your refrigerator stops cooling the number one issue is the fan motor and the blade which generally gets damaged after a years of use. Sensor replacing the fan motor. It’s literally in the freezer section behind the panel. If you have a screwdriver and about an hour of time, you don’t need to call a specialist. Just look up couple YouTube videos on how to change the chiller fan floor motor on a fridge. They’re all pretty much designed the same. Amazon is awesome as you could look up your refrigerator part number and just order it. It’s pretty easy to do and it will save you 300 to $600. Depending on where you live, but it is pretty easy to do so if you have an extra fridge, move all the stuff to another fridge and highly recommend this product. It’s a perfect fit.

The blades were the wrong direction as I was replacing parts for a Kenmore(Deawoo) 111 series French door fridge from Lowe's that is no longer made. I was able to use a small nail/screw to knock a hole all the way through and install it the way that worked with my fridge's motor.

This fan is a larger outside dimension than the OEM part in my Whirlpool. The parl fits the shaft but is too large for the housing. The molding is good, with no excessive flash and appears to be molded of virgin material. My comment is only a caution on size.
