Seems limited to one type of disc
Poor performance; have narrowed it down to the drive not liking varied types of disc. Initially it worked with my region 2 dvds but on ripping audio Cds to mp3 files it ejects every type of disc afterwards. The first time it happened I was able to remedy it but now I can't. There is no prompt to select the region. I am guessing it was orignially set to Region 1 because as far as I can see this was the original drive used for the Superdrives used in Macbooks. The back up support didn't provide any solutions.

Faulty on arrival, problem ejecting discs.
Initial impressions were quite good, it's a neat unit well packaged, and was performing well at ripping a cd. Until I tried to eject the disc. It made various whirring and grinding noise, but no disc appeared. After several futile attempts and just as I was starting to think I'd have to destroy the unit to get the disc, I tried turning the unit upside down and ejecting, which did the trick. Giving it 3 stars as faults can happen to anything, and I'm sure if you got a working unit you'd be perfectly satisfied. but it doesn't speak highly of the Quality Control.

excellent machine easy to use
bought this to replace L G drive that was not supported by my computer MacBook air MI the build quality is of a very high standard and was on of the few machines that had a direct USB-C connection .it vis plug and play and worked straight away was able to copy C D and then sync with my iPhone.speed was much better than my previous machine and playing a dvd was easy .great value for money and comes with good quality case.

Excellent product works well for me
Having read other reviews I had concerns but I needn’t have I opened the box plugged it into my Mac book pro put in a cd and I got the choice of playing or importing the music Very pleased with my purchase

Does not work in Australia
Does not work in Australia. Plugged in to my Macbook Pro, nothing. Tried to insert a CD, nothing.

Gratamente sorprendida.
Tuve una grabadora anterior más barata que dejó de funcionar sin más a los pocos meses. Esta funciona perfectamente tanto conectada con adaptador al PC como directamente a un portátil MAC con USB C. Acabé con este grabadora porque para la grabadora/reproductora Apple con USB C necesitas también un adaptador. Me parece un atraco y una vergüenza que estén vendiendo como novedad equipos con USB y que sus accesorios no estén preparados para ello.

Bon produit je recommande
Produit de bonne qualité, contenu intéressant notamment la pochette de transport semi rigide qui est plutôt sympas. Egalement l'adaptateur usb-c inclus dans la boite. Au niveau paramétrage c'est du plug & play si directement connecté via l'usb c (j'utilise un MacBook Pro M4 avec iOS 26.3.1 Seul défaut pour moi, c'est que ce n'est pas une prise à la sortie du lecteur mais un câble serti.
