I really like this cabinet. I wish I had bought it sooner. My husband and I are in our seventies so assembly was challenging physically even tho the instructions were clear. I bought the plastic insert which filled in the spaces very nicely. I felt the price was very reasonable. The lift goes up and down much easier since we sprayed the black squares with silicone spray.

This is a wonderful design for a sewing cabinet, when things are packed away and the doors/lids are closed this makes a nice piece of furniture. Parts for this item came in three boxes and putting the cabinet together was fairly straight forward. However, some of the instructions did not make sense and we had to re-do a couple of things, but they were minor and all turned out just fine with no extra pieces/parts leftover. The lift comes already attached - the only thing that needs to be attached to the lift is the platform which your sewing machine will sit on. The pre-drilled holes were not in the right place and we needed to make the adjustment to make it work. To make this complete an insert should be purchased from a authorized Arrow dealer.

I am NOT able to use the lift it’s imposable to lift Up and down. It took three men three hours to put together. I just wasted my money. The reason I bought this was for the lift.

The shipping price was reasonable for shipping a product like this to Alaska, and I would buy from this seller again, but not this manufacturer. This cabinet arrived in three boxes with no shipping damage to them, but one corner of Part O was damaged before the item was even boxed. (see Photo). The support for the 28" flip out table top is undersized to support the 3/4 inch particle board. If anyone has had particle board anything, they know just how much it eventually sags and deforms without proper support. The swing out door with the thread trays is supposed to support that shelf along with a little swing out brace, but when folded out like the second photo shows,the swing out brace is located under the center of the table top leaving nothing to support the back side of the table for 21". The other issue is with the opening in the table top where the lift and machine are located. The manufacturer offers a custom cut insert to fit the opening around whatever machine you have for $99, which is reasonable for custom work. Unfortunately, there is no insert supplied to cover the routered hole when the leaves are extended and the machine is lowered, so there is no way to use this full table top to work with patterns or anything else with the leaves extended without paying another $99 for a solid insert to cover that hole. For the price of this table, a solid insert should be provided to cover that opening, which would help ease the pain of the price for value on this product.
