Will a normal garden hose be able to connect to this with the connectors included?

A normal size garden hose could be connected but I would recommend a wider hose.

How could I connect this to a 1/2" hosepipe? What adapter would I need?

go to a plumbers supply shop with the pump and ask them to give you the necessary adapters

What is the pumps watt usage thanks

We have not used it yet as it's there in case of heavy floods

does this pump have an inbuilt non return valve so that water cannot flow back
