Watch out on the Brightness of the White Green and Blue LEDs extremely BRIGHT !!!!! you only need to drive with 1 mA max.
This was a tough one to decide on 4 or 5 stars. First things First. The LED have a big difference in brightness between the two groups . Group #1 is (Red & Yellow) these have much lower brightness per mA vs. Group #2 (White, Green & Blue) I do not mean a small difference but a HUGE difference. to get an LED to a Bright usable level you will need to drive the Red and Yellow at 15 to 20 mA. But for Group #2 you only need to drive them at 0.5 to 1.0 mA. This is very nice as you do not need very much current for these at all. If you would like to Blind yourself drive group #2 (White, Green or Blue at 20 mA and I called this brightness level OMG Bright and if you look straight at these set that bright you will see spots for a while afterwards. Seriously the are very Bright at 1 mA of Current. But the Red and Yellow are not even in the same ball park. so if you need to match all 5 colors to the same brightness levels you will be using 220 ohms for the Red or Yellow on 5 volts and 4700 ohms for the White, Green or Blue LEDs on 5 volts. At this value you can buy a few different value resistors and run your own test to match brightnesses. Great little LED. I would buy them again if I ever need to

Good LED's for the money.
I like the LED's. They are nicely arranged in the box with the forward voltage for each color. You can get LED's cheaper, but they tend to come in a bulk pack, like a bag and usually no information is given. The couple of dollars extra this costs is worth it, to get a case with the bins marked. So far I have used 60 of them for a spectrum analyzer display that I built and out of those I had one bad LED. It may have been my fault, as the heat from the soldering iron can destroy an LED if left on it too long. Still I would imagine that one would run into a bad one out of 1K of them. Really good product and shipping was fast as well.

Great for paper circuits
Bought for paper circuits activity with high schoolers. These were a great buy and worked perfectly for the activity. I recommended them to many other educators that I shared the activity with.

Nice Kit with Quality LEDs
First, I’ll admit to being an electronics component kit junky. Having the parts on hand for any project you want to is an awesome thing. I already have multiple LEDs in a drawer but I thought it would be good to have an organized collection with all the basic colors I’d want to use and this seem to fit the Bill.I bought both the 3mm and 5mm kits, and tested at least one of every color. Each was bright with a very nice color hue. Plastic cases are fine and keep the colors separated while being slim in design. This is a really handy assortment of quality LEDs to have ready for any project.

The essential breadboard / protoboard LED kit
Excellent product. You might get individual LEDs cheaper somewhere else, but this pack is cheap enough, and the LEDs are top quality. I use LEDs extensively for prototyping, and these are easily the best I've ever bought. The size is my favorite for breadboarding and protoboarding, and the label inside the box makes it easy to figure out which LED to use for a given circuit. I'd love to see another assortment of colors / forward voltages in this size (maybe include rainbow as one of the colors). In short, 5 stars because of quality, packaging, and thinking through the overall product. Well worth the price.

Very good !!
These are very bright, well diffused LEDs. These are super efficient. I gave it 400 micro amps and it was still lit. You will have to go above 40k resistor to dim the Red. The Red is the dimmest lamp of them all with 1000 to 2000 mcd. Very nice lamp with really nice diffusion for a simple colored dot instead of a flashlight of an LED. WARNING, make sure you have the lid locked down properly or you'll have LEDs everywhere. Box is tight so lamps stay in their bins (if you have the lid closed properly).

Very Bright! Students Love Them!
Very bright connected to pin 3 of a 555 IC even with a 1.2k resistor connected in series. I use these as rewards for my students over my standard issue LEDs. They look forward to being rewarded with these for outstanding achievement throughout the course. The only way to get a blue one is to score an A on a test! Highly sought after!

Excellent product couldn't be more satisfied
Absolutely fantastic product. I received a poster from the late 1980s which had LEDs in it. Many of them we're bad. This was a very cost-effective way to make a repair to something so beautiful. I now have about 990 to create a new project. Excellent product very bright LEDs. Would definitely buy from this supplier again. I wish that there were more sellers out there like this. The shipping was fantastic ordered Saturday evening arrive Monday morning.
