5 star for now. 15 minutes into it, seems like a really nice product To pair to your phone which will then add it to your internet wifi connection. 1) Your phone needs to be on the 2.4GHz Wifi (typical used by iot devices) network in your home or business for pairing. Phones tend to find there way to the 5Ghz wifi band it seems. This is the true problem in connecting any of these iot devices. Many home wifi boxes will produce combination 2.4 and 5 Ghz transmissions, the problem, your iot devices only see the 2.4, your phone wants to go to that 5Ghz band. :-( 2) Next you long press the button that represent the down direct control (with the link symbol on it) (per the instruction sheet in the box) to get it to pairing mode. This is advertised as a 2 Pole device, but the input/output ports are labeled N and Live (Neutral and Hot). A proper 2 Pole device must have 2 Hot ports in addition to the neutral. To act a circuit breaker it needs to open both hot lines, so we wired it with the t hots passing through the breaker and tied the neutrals together. When the breaker is open this resulted in the hot side being open, but the port labeled N was still connected. This means that one leg of the 220 circuit was still hot. This is definitely not what would be expeted from a 220v 2 pole single phase circuit breaker. But it gets worse! It worked that way for us for about 3 days. Then for some reason it caused 2 fuses to blow on the pool the circuit runs to. One fuse on each leg. Testing the output of the breaker, in the open (off) position, there was 124v on the N leg, and a varying amount of around 100v on the live leg. This is very much not at all what should happen to an open circuit!! When it became defective in this way it somehow also burned out fuses on both legs.

Excellent product. It work exactly as is advertise. You can monitor voltage, current and kW/h from a remote location by Tuya app, which allows you to turn it on and off and have record of everything anytime and from everywhere. Easy connection and perfect for monitoring my solar kit performance comparing what is the system producing and what I am consuming from it.

Using this device to restrict my hot water heaters power consumption, we cut our electricity bill from around usd$450 a month....to around $220 a month. And this is with absolutely no other lifestyle change whatsoever. I simply scheduled the water heater to ONLY heat water for 20 minutes around the 3 times during the day where we would actually shower. This minor change saved us THAT much money!!!
