Does the trick!
After getting stuck in the spring, I got this grid material so I could create a bit of an easement into my property to park my travel trailer. I graded the slope of my yard a bit so it was a constant incline instead of a curved, ramping one. Then I staked this down and poured and stamped gravel into the grid. So far it's made it through the 2025 camping season with excellent results. Hoping it holds up through the coming years.

Works as intended
These do work well to keep stone from rolling down the hill. It's flimsy which I was surprised. Make sure you anchor them down or they may rise up and stone will be under it.

Pin it in place securely
This was fairly simple to put down. Took a little finesse to keep it in place while we backfilled with crush n run. We used short rebar rods to stake it out. It takes a lot to spread it out correctly. I feel confident it will hold the road together on the steep slope.

Fantastic and easy to install!
Great product! Used for a driveway for a heavy boat trailer. Easy to install. We filled 1/2 with dirt and the top half with pea gravel. Added a thin spreading of dry quick-Crete cement on the top, and just watered it in the rock. Definitely need stakes. Depending on type of ground cover, 4” stakes for grass, heavy longer stakes for rock substrate.

Did not work for us..
I was really bummed that these just did not work for my troublesome drive way. The idea is great but when we set it up and filled it with the grave the frame of it just bundle up and wouldn't spread nicely. We spend 3 days trying to get this to work and it did not.

Wouldn't recommend due to the way it is packaged. Otherwise it would be great.
Product is solid. No issue with quality of material, it is great. Two issues I do have with the ground grid: 1. Not enough ground stakes; need more than ten stakes due to issue #2. Twenty would be workable. 2. Because the product is folded on itself in the packaging it causes the grid to be deformed when laying it out and you need more stakes to help "force" the shape. Even so I could not get it to give the nice diamond pattern. It should be packaged in a box long enough to hold the product and not a smaller box requiring it to be folded upon itself. I laid the grid in the sun for 30mins to warm up, tried bending the creases out, but could not get the grid to give the nice diamond shape in the pictures. The extra stakes are needed to force the shape close to the diamond pattern and hold it for application of the substrate material.

These things work!
I would never have been able to put in a rock path in our hilly, muddy yard without using these grids. The small/medium sized round, dog-paw-friendly gravel we put in really does stay in place, and we no longer have to put down straw during the muddier months. It also makes our yard look landscaped; the stone path is truly a "feature". No regrets on buying these!

They are good to keep rocks in.
They are good for keeping the rocks in. I’d buy more to help with parking.
