BlueRigger USB 3.0 Extension Cable (15FT, Active, 5 Gbps, Type A Male to Female Adapter Cord) - Long USB Repeater Extender for VR Headset, Printer, Hard Drive, Flash Drive, Keyboard, Mouse, Xbox

I have been searching for months now, for a functioning 20'+ USB 3.0 extension cable, I have tried several, to replace four aging cables that have recently seeing spotting connectivity. I actually have four, as I am typing this, that I need to return to Amazon, as Windows 10 refused them, seeing them as "Ultra High Speed USB Hub", but my Windows Device Manager would refresh, constantly, when any of those four cables were plugged in. Those cables were even more expensive than the BlueRigger cables.Not only have all of those issues gone away, as soon as I plugged in this new BlueRigger cable, they function perfectly, including plugged into my Fiio Q7 DAC. Every other extension cable I have used with this DAC, even others that indeed worked otherwise, there would be an occasional crackling sound, there are no such artifacts with this cable, my audio is crystal clear. You can feel the quality of this BlueRigger cable, when you are holding it in your hand, and everything works just as well as if it were plugged directly into my PC.I cannot recommend these BlueRigger cables enough, and they will be the only cable I buy, moving forward, certainly on the extension side of things, but once I have tested some of their standard cables, they may be the only cable I ever buy, moving forward, for any sort of connectivity I may need. As a matter of fact, I only ordered 2, due to all of the issues I have had to this point with other cables, and as soon as I finish this review I will be ordering two more. If you need a USB extension cable, BUY THESE BLUERIGGER CABLES!

Did a good job. No problems.

This cable allowed connecting a wireless mouse and keyboard when it was only connected intermittantly because it was on the "edge" of being too far. After installing this cable, I plugged the wireless Logitech receiver into the USB (that is only a couple feet away) and my mouse now tracks and all keys pressed appear on screen.

These are wonderful long USB cables. I've bought several and I just ordered another.I use them for troubleshooting and any time I have USB distance problem, these are the answer.

This is clearly a well designed and well constructed cable, and the workmanship is top-notch. It should work nicely for most applications that the average user would put it to. BUT, be aware, this cable will NOT work with devices that require power for more than just data transfer. An example of this would be external USB powered hard drives (e.g WD Passport), high-powered USB WiFI adapters (e.g. ALFA Cards), and similar powered USB devices requiring higher amounts of power to function. (Exception: it WILL work with external hard drives that have their own power sources. In other words, hard drive with their own plug-in power adapter.)It probably will not charge or power most devices such as iPhones, iPads, iPods (a lot of 'i's' I know) and the like. However, it works fine with devices requiring very little power, or no power at all, but only requiring a transmission medium for data transfer. For example, it will work fine with printers and USB flash drives. I plugged mine in to several of my USB flash drives and they all work fine with it. It also works with the printer. However, when plugging it in to my external USB powered hard drives (which contain a motor which must receive adequate power), it does not work. If in doubt, I suggest you first contact the manufacturer of the device for which you intend to use this cable.

I did not realize Fanatec’s wheel bases have issues with usb extension cables over 3m until I ran into the issue and googled. Constant disconnects while playing, trouble connecting while PSVR2 was connected, etc. I used UGreen’s extension cable prior and currently in a back and forth with warranty via email.Now to the BlueRigger USB extension. I plugged it into my Fanatec GT DD Pro and immediately the base connected to PS5 without multiple power cycles and luck as previously. I tested for 30 min and no disconnects. I unplugged and plugged in a few times and it reconnected immediately.I can not tell you how relieved I am to find a usb extension (15 ft) that is working after 5 months of frustration (why did it take me this long to google the issue, no idea. Assumed it was a fanatec wheel connection issue and their customer support would make you avoid them also). I will update my review after long term use confirm there are still no disconnect issues.

Worked as expected right out of the box. Cable is supple/flexible which I prefer and not stiff like most usb cables. The male and female end both seemed to be of good quality. Comes with some nice Velcro cable keepers.
