Great maze game for all ages
Excellent toy. My 4 1/2 year old grandson has even started learning the planets because of it. I never expected it to be educational, so an added bonus. The pens do scratch the Perspex cover, but it's not a problem and does not detract from the fun of the game. Could easily be enjoyed by younger children - definitely enjoyed by the adults in our house! Made of wood with a Perspex cover, decent quality for the price.

Very poor quality and has Chinese script on it that's not visible on picture.

Not as good as I expected
I bought this for my daughter as she'd played with something similar in a waiting room and loved it. This is very poor by comparison. It may technically be 'wooden' but really it's compressed sawdust. She got the base wet and in drying it, it started to rub away the 'wood'. There also isn't really a purpose to it, which the other one intuitively had, getting specific balls into specific holes. I'm pretty unimpressed, she likes it but I don't think the attraction will last long.

Simple but lots of fun.
A lot of fun for the kids, whether they're into space or just enjoy mazes. Can be used as the traditional way of tilting the balls around to get them where you want them to be or to use the magnet pencil tool, which is very cool indeed! The only fault I see is that Saturn is drawn bigger than Jupiter, which isn't the case in reality.

Poor quality and in my opinion a waste of money.

Easily scratched but a good educational toy
Comes in a thick cardboard box, both box and toy have dual langauge on them. This is an octagonal wooden puzzle toy, with the planets (and Earth's Moon) all circling the Sun, and a couple of dozen magnetic balls inside, that you can either move through the tunnels by tipping the toy or by using the two magnetic sticks that fit inside the board.THey work well, but the sticks do, as another reviewer said, quickly scratch the clear cover of the toy. This definitely should be rectified (a slightly different design of the magnetic sticks or some soft covering?) to preserve longevity. We've enjoyed playing with this, racing to get the balls from planet to planet. It's been good to help teaching my five-year-old the names of the planets as well, and their order from the Sun.Nice toy for co-ordination skills and for early learning about our solar system. Though the planets are not to scale at all (Jupiter is far smaller than Saturn). The wood is well made, no loose splinters or faults, it's good for the over 3s. The balls inside cannot escape though the magnet sticks could be a choking hazard for very young children. With thanks to the manufacturer for the sample product, sent for review purposes.
