Okay so it is sturdy, came with all the right pieces. It was easy to fit together. The only tricky thing to look out for is to make sure the ends slotting into the other bulky actually go into the slots. Or they stick out over the slots. So that took a bit of pressing.Follow the instructions as they are good.

For £30 you get what you pay for. The assembly was not the best overall but it worked out. Only problem I had is I have to change the level a few times (I was deciding what to use it for) and swapping each step is quite difficult. The quality of the metal is not the best and you feel like it's going to break but eventually it doesn't. I still recommend it, for £30 it's cheap and works out.

3 shelving units ordered on 27th May - expected delivery was 4th June but they arrived on 29th May!They are a bit tricky to put together but I took my time, used a rubber mallet to knock shelf supports in and a small screwdriver to guide connections if they were slightly out of line.I did not rush, I checked connections were aligned before the final 'knock in' and each unit took around 30 minutes to build. Also, I had no trouble moving them around in my garage once assembled.The seller also answered my query very quickly and to my total satisfaction.I think they look great, are good value and would definitely recommend the item...Check instructions, have the tools available and take your time. Doing this should result in a relatively easy build for the average DIY'er like myself.

I purchased this to stand on the back of a built in desk. It’s really easy to assemble and very sturdy, I’m considering buying more of these too as they have an industrial look but the wood effect gives it more of a classic edge. Really nice.

Needed some more counter top space so I bought this. I've some experience in these racks and this isn't a quality item, the metal is far too thin and even though it's bolted together and screwed into the wall it's still not a strong as it should be. It's great for kitchen use (I suppose you pay extra for the dark oak effect MFD over the standard beige MDF) but definitely do not use in the garage and I'd be hesitant to use this full height (stacked on top of one another) as it'll deffo fall over if not mounted into the wall. Best bet is Screwfix or tool station for one of these and then apply a vinyl cover to the MDF boards, of whuck aren't thick at all and it's good there's a cross beam in the middle of each shelfOverall I'm ok with this purchase, might buy another for my living room for my Vinyls and hi-fi...might, as the price for this isn't much worth the quality, cost £31ish and it's more like a £25 item and there's better out there for the price

This is brilliant rack/shelving. You need to be careful to connect the pieces properly. If clips are fitted within the sockets and not getting out from the back side you will have good stability. This is a bit tricky and requires some effort, but once done then it really works. Securing it to a wall really helps further and the fixings are provided. The laminated HDF boards are also brilliant and can sustain humidity as far as you will seal the edges, which are the only points of entry. You can do that with clear silicon. Overall a brilliant buy.

Instead of screws, this unit is built by slotting metal pegs into slots. They don't want to go in the slots. I've spent an hour bashing it with a hammer and trying to pry the slot apart wider with a screwdriver. I'm an hour in, I've got a headache, half the bits are bent and I've just realised I've got another 3 shelf supports to build. There's a strong possibility I'm going to rage quit and throw the whole lot in the bin. If you do buy this, I'd suggest not building it with a loved one because it'll probably end with you never speaking to each other again.

They are nice units but were not the easiest to assemble. Although they look simple to clip together, most slots needed to be altered slightly to make things fit.Once together, they are sturdy and look good.
