Myoc SLES is an anionic surfactant, widely used in rinse off products as a primary surfactant. In addition to its excellent detergency (cleansing), it also has excellent emulsification and foamability properties. It is the major component of detergent (cleansing) products. It is compatible with all surfactants except cationic. SLES is used in hundreds of products, from dishwashing liquid to shampoo. Even some ‘eco' brands use these chemicals while making their products because it has a lower degree of skin irritation, ease of compaction and insensitivity to hard water. It is primarily used in wetting agent formulations, liquid detergents, cleansers, shampoos and laundry detergents. Sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES) is also known as sodium laureth sulfate. It acts as a detergent and surfactant, creating the 'lather' in many personal care products, including shampoos and toothpastes. The product has good solvency, favorable hard-water resistance and high-biodegradation. It also facilitates ease of formulation and production.
