Amplifier Tube (T-E34L-JJ)

OK I'll be honest . I just plugged these bad boys in and I've used them in my amp for about half an hour . And I freaking love them in comparison to my stock tubes. I'm using them in a bugera trirec. It's self biasing and runs any tube you put in at its optimum . I plugged these 2 in and left the other 2 stock 6l6 in there . Wow it woke this amp up . It tightened up the low end , kind of made the overall sound a tad warmer but enough for me to notice , but that's good . The previous tubes were harsh , bright kind of thin sounding . These tightened up the sound so much and no it sounds so much more dynamic if that's the correct word . Really made the amp so much better sounding . I'm so happy with these. Let's home they don't die quickly

I didn't bias my amp when I changed my tubes and didn't even realize these are not standard EL34 tubes but require a bias adjustment without question. They worked fine for two years with minimal use, until one of the 4 went bad and blew the HT fuse. I found out which tube went bad and replaced it with an old EL34 from my last quad, and the amp still sounds great. Next time I'd make sure to bias the amp to exact specifications for these tubes.

I replaced my Svetlana EL34's in my Marshall JCM 2000 DSL50 with a set of these JJ EL34L and really woke my amp up!Now to put this in perspective the Svetlana's were only a year old and have lots of life left in them but, something about the JJ's changed the dynamic of the output in comparison. It's hard to describe as it's more of a feeling then something aural I can accurately describe... it's like it became more responsive and tighter sounding. I also switched my pre-amp tubes out from Sovtek to Genalex Gold Lion B759 long plates for V1,2 & 4 and a Tungsol 12ax7 gold pin for V3. This amp roars!!!!!!!!Bottom line is these tubes sound great! They sound even better when pushed to saturation!

JJ makes basic chevrolet tubes. Guys that don't know much about NOS and high end tubes usually settle for JJ. The reputation JJ tubes has online is amazing--and wrong. Almost any NOS tube will sound better in a guitar amp. I bought these simply to trouble shoot my JCM800. It had, and still has, triple winged C's. Because that is what you put into a JCM800 if you know tubes. The amp needed some work on it, sound was harsh, not smooth. I bought these to see if the harshness was the tubes going bad. The new JJ's did not improve the sound, so I took the amp to the best tech in town and got it properly adjusted/cleaned, recapped while it was there, and biased with the old winged c's. Sounds fantastic!

Solid, well made tubes. I replaced a set that I've had for a decade, not because the old ones were going bad... but you know. Excellent tone in a Quicksilver GLA. I've used the JJ EL43L ever since they were introduced, and though I have many other EL43's, I keep coming back to these.

Decent for the price. I had purchased a matched quad set for my Jolida 302B. One of the tubes in the set was bad, overdriving and blowing the mains fuse. Ordered a matched pair to replaced. So far all is well
