Gods Lie, The

The book came just as expected!! Had a lovely feel to it and a great story plot!! I truely recommend it to others and I would give it a pg rating for some scenes!

The book cover has this really nice texture (odd thing to start with I know). The art was absolutely gorgeous and the plot was amazing, it took me a little over half an hour to read as I could not put It down. Kaori Ozaki is an amazing writer and artist, and I will definitely purchase more of their manga.

right now I am halfway through the gods lie, first of all I would like to say that you shouldn’t listen to the grown adults reviewing this as they are not the age demographic as a 14 year old (yes Ik it’s 10-13 but oh well) I love the art style and the story so far is great and well done. to the grown ass woman I saw reviewing this, it’s a tween / teen book. would recommend if the story description interests you <3 :)

I've always loved the Mangaka who made this, always have and always will. This work proves why I love her so much. It just has this feel of nostalgia. Its a excellently pieced together manga that had me wishing for an anime adaptation even before I finished the first few pages. The story took me by surprise with how emotional it got, how it wasn't afraid to step into the shadows that lurk in life and thrive there while still remaining the romance story of a young man. The artwork as always is amazing but it's the story....it just, it made hit me hard. I always take 2 manga with me so I can read during work after finishing my tasks and waiting for customers, while I read this, I had to hold back the tears that desperately wanted to escape. It's rare for me to have such lack of control that I can't contain myself enough to hold myself in check. That's why, this is now one of my favourite. I imagined music and voice acting to this on my second read and I completely lost it. If you haven;t already, please, read this and then check out Ozaki-Sama's other works. Especially if you love Makoto Shinkai, this has the same bittersweet feeling.

Short story and has the backbone to highlight some very serious issues. Whoever put age rating this young is an idiot. This definitely isn't just for kids and is good read for those seeking to feel a bit better. Buy it already!

It’s been mentioned, but the cover really does have a nice feel. Loved the art and story. Quite an emotional experience, will make many people feel the tears welling. It’s definitely going in the re read bookcase.

i read this and i find it amazing, I’ve now re read it twice! And i cry everytime but all of all it’s worth the money and a good read.

Creo que el puro titulo de la obra evoca una sensación de fantasía y a la par una sensación de realismo (cabe remarcar que no tiene ninguna connotación religiosa), pero esta es una de las ocasiones que nada de eso transmite correctamente la historia hasta que la lees. Es una historia de romance con un giro de eventos un poco "oscuro", con un ritmo apaciguo y personajes en su entrada en la adolescencia llenos de inseguridad, inocencia y todo un mundo por delante, y a pesar de ser un romance de "niños/adolescentes", toca temas fuertes y maduros combinados con una narrativa visual simbólica y una excelente representación de la humanidad y esencia de los personajes (en lo personal el diseño de los estos me enamoro) de acuerdo a su edad, además de que es un one-shot, con lo cual esta es una historia que todos deberían leer ya que es una lectura corta pero satisfactoria de principio a fin. En cuanto al material y calidad, el papel no es delgado pero tampoco muy grueso, y el la intensidad de los colores (escala de grises) es muy buena, en cuanto al apasta, no tiene solapas y es de un material opaco y con una sensación un poco granulosa.

Rio akranlarına kıyasla çok uzun boylu ilk bakışta soğuk ve bazı sebeplerden dolayı erken olgunlaşıp kardeşine bakmak zorunda kalan melankolik bir karakter Natsuru ise akranlarına kıyasla çok kısa atletik olarak donanımlı olmayan ama bir futbolcu olup olimpiyatlara katılma hayali kuran bir karakter bu ikisi arasındaki ilişkinin dinamiği çok güzel bir şekilde klişe olmadan anlatılıyor hikayede. Hikaye ağırlıklı olarak masum olan çocukluğun bitişini günümüzde olan soğuk gerçeklerle bize anlatıyor ve manganın adının neden Gods Lie olarak tercih edildiğini manganın sonunda anlamlandırıyoruz. Eğer klişe olmayan tek oturuşta soluksuz bitireceğiniz ve aklınızda kalacak duygusal tatlı bir hikaye istiyorsanız okumanızı tavsiye ederim
